Spring time has arrived here in the West, and with it, comes opportunity. 10,000ft snowcapped peaks let us ride snowmobiles one day, while rain shadow low-laying valleys let us play in 80 degree deserts the next. This truly is our favorite season. The best part about this adventure? You have an opportunity to join us next April to play in the desert and in the arctic. We are offering a guided s...

This is something we started doing last season and will continue to do so each year as a way to say thank you to those who served. This season, Wyoming High Country Lodge generously donated three nights of lodging and food fo...

WHERE IS WINTER?? | On the Hunt for Snow in Northern Wyoming. Bighorns & Beartooths
Переглядів 2,7 тис.5 місяців тому
The strongest El Nino possibly ever recorded has not faired well for much of the Northern Rocky Mountains. The unseasonably warm and dry conditions have made for the weakest snowpack we have ever seen. But this vlog isn't all doom and gloom. We are here to show you that even with the worst snowpack we've ever seen, we are still riding and having an absolute riot. Guided Tours & Rentals of the B...

Early Season Carnage in Togwotee
Переглядів 13 тис.6 місяців тому
After a remarkably dry start in the American West, the we loaded up and headed to Togwotee, Wyoming looking for any sort of hope. The forecast was calling for over 12" of snow the days of our trip, but that simply didn't happen. Early season riding is still a blast, but it comes with a price. #skidoo #snowmobiles #snowmobiling #skidoo #polaris

It's been a slow start here out West with a well below average snowpack. That didn't stop us from enjoying our first ride in Cooke City, Montana with our good friends! We can't wait for more snow! #skidoo #snowmobiling #snowmobiles #polaris #cookecity

Great video!
Awesome edit!! Stoked to be a part of it🤘🤘
Was fun watching you send it dude!
Need to update those bikes! They are looking a little rough
Haha I think Mason would agree! Definitely been put to work over the years!
Do you offer military discount?
We do! We also do a huge donated trip every year for veterans with the All-American Heroes. Look at our “Throttle Therapy” video for more on that! You can apply for next years trip 🤟🏻
Do you have anything like the veterans' trip for active duty military?
@@user-yy7jq5pu3o yes! You don’t have to be a veteran! I believe they do allow active duty as well! They also do rides all over the country too. So you can apply for more than one ride!
A two-stroke dirt bike might come close to the smile factor of a two stroke sled and May 9th pow. Great video. Need to figure out a way to retire or move my office to Sheridan from December-May.
Riding a dirt bike in areas that allow off-trail use has been the closest thing to sledding that I have found!! Although dirt hurts way more 😂
Stellar weekend! Everyone should experience a dual sport weekend with snow & dirt. SLED FEST 2024!!!
Couldn’t agree more 🤠
Sick video! Such a fun weekend!
One of the best!!
One of the best weekends🤠
You know it!! Yaaass
Incredible! Super cool to see this in the horns and you did a hell of a job on that edit. Keep em coming!
Thanks man!! That means a lot 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Looks like some rough landings!
Landings in progress 😂😂
Hell yeahhh
Yeah buddy!!
Freakin epic day 🤠
Looks fun boys! Makes me want to take the drive!
Spring Booters > Beach vacations
Way to loud. No ski pulls for you lol.
Understandable. To run this tune, you can’t have a baffled exhaust. Mod sled purposes only. All of our guide sleds are quite for that reason.
Good job our vets ride had to be cancled because of no snow in minnesota
So I’ve heard!! Such a bummer! These guys could only do rides out West this year
8:52 what action camera are you using? The color grading and clarity is insane! I just ordered a Sony FX30 and a Tameron 70-180mm to start getting more professional shots and create more movie like videos rather than vlogs.
That would be Jett’s insta 360! Nice! I use the FX3 but the FX30 is damn near just as good. Just has a slightly smaller sensor!
@@sledwyo Thanks for the reply! I’ve been having issues with my GoPro’s lately and have been looking at the Insta 360.
@@BTHAlaska I always have issues with my GoPro 😂 But I have the hero 8. Might just need to upgrade
@@sledwyo I got a couple Hero 9’s so I also may need to upgrade. 🤣
What a great way to spend a day riding!
Right On!!
Such a good time with great dudes!
I rented a gen 5 this year and had historically rode Polaris only and was really impressed with how it was able to turn. I think from my perspective is it worth the extra 2 to $3,000 to buy a used gen 5 over a Gen 4? I think the answer is yes but curious when what you guys think.
This would be like the perfect sled in Sweden, we dont get tons of powder......even 20 years ago riding in the mountains was quite easy with the old snowmobiles we had back then.
That’s why we got it! For sub par snow conditions.
cool videos dude.
Thank you!
More turbo less tunnel 🫡
Just the way we like it
Is that track speed in MPH???
Everything is Rad……except that obnoxiously loud can! 👎Booooo
Haha yeah, it’s a little much, but we felt it was ok for a mod sled.
Rowdy! I feel sorry for anyone who gives a ski pull. Nice build!
Haha yeah. Definitely gonna lose some hearing 🤣
Keep me posted about belt life😮. Thank you for sharing 😊
Will do! So far so good
Thank you
Looks like good snow, but the truth is the big horns are pretty flat
In spots, yes, but we could get you into gnarville. I have never met a rider that is too good for the bighorns. We have some nasty canyons.
I loved Wyoming High Country! when was this content shot? Jan 2024?
One of our favs! Yes, this was shot this year a few weeks ago
@@sledwyo awesome that place is a 10 out of 10 by me and all my friends❄❄
Another sick edit as usual. Two bucket list items in this vlog. I rode the Beartooth on the bike last summer, and definitely need to experience it on a sled! I also want the full mountain experience that High Country Lodge has to offer.
It was awesome to see the SledWyo crew in action yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to chat about sleds, trailers and all things sledding. Keep up the hard work.
Thanks for saying hey Dustin!! Was a pleasure to meet ya! Hope you and your family had a great day!!
Take a shot every time Jeff says Super
Sheeeeeeeesh! Steezy with the tricks steezy with the footage
It ain’t easy, being steezy
Snow sucks in the Bighorns this year! You can still see vegetation everywhere. I would not plan to sled in the horns his year.
Lmao. Did you even watch the video? Hire a guide next time.
@@sledwyo sure as heck wouldn’t hire you. If you think there is enough snow to have a pleasant ride in the Bighorns you’re full of it! Your comment sounds like a young kid who’s been out drinking and just came back to their computer to check comments. Grow up!
Great content!!
Thank you!! Sometimes creating these vlogs doesn’t seem worth it. Comments like these help a lot man. Thank you
🔥🔥🔥
How do I put in to race that weekend
We call this dealer snow, cause the dealers sell a semi load of parts 😂😂😂😂
Haha dealers should be promoting the hell out of this early season then!!!
Thank you for sharing
This is why I run ice age rails and wheels you can ride this shit all day and never worry
I suggest you stock up on the Munster seal kit for your kill switch, and shot/reverse switch. Last year I had to replace the seals 4 different times. 🤬🤬🤬 they definitely look cool, but they suck. This year I went to the bush pusher switch, relocate, and back to the stock BRP switches.
Think it’s gonna be a sad year boys! Mother nature gave it all to us last winter because she knew it was gonna be dry this winter😢😢😢
Read up on elnino and the polar vortex that’s been held at bay for the last two months lol it’s coming and hard too I think anyway
3 up wheelie was sweet!
Gonna be lots of wheelies for the time being 😅🤣
Sorry I’ve rode many gen 5 and I own a stage 3 built gen 4 yes I had to dump some coin into it but with that kit and getting rid of the flex track and going to composite man huge difference I hate the look of the gen 5 and won’t get a new ski doo till they change it also you have to change all your gears on them because they went with way weaker drive gears and chain, ski doo uses strut ties if you disconnect those they are night and day side hill difference, I would love to link up with you guys man I go to Cooke often!!
Is is it stock clutching??
Great start!!!
That is the same parking lot that I go to all year, great riding area when there is snow!
Just got my first sled and planned on going up to the Dunoir area to learn on for the next two weeks, but checked the weather and saw that it was going to be the most perfect clearest two weeks for everyone else but snowmobilers lol. Hoping Wyoming throws the usual curveball with its weather though!
Nice! Yeah, been crazy dry this year. Hoping it turns around
Yoy make me sick!! Just kidding! Live in norther MN. Brand new sled hasnt even been started!! Got a g5 last year and put 900 miles on and can't wait!! These new g5's are amazing. Dont even want to ride my 2022. Tips up!
Heck yeah!! Enjoy! Still lots of winter left!!
