Honestly MY favorite part of the whole movie! Think of the emotion that was going on during the voices of this movie?

I think the wishes actually have some sentience of their own. And what’s happening here is the people are not just taking their wishes back. The wishes are all leaving Magnifico on their own volition and returning to their rightful owners, thus proving Asha and Star right that they really don’t belong to him.

Writer Allison Moore says his motivations are not honorable, stating that "Magnifico seems to think wishes are just ideas. But they are a part of your heart-the very best part of your heart! Yet he's holding them inside these wish bubbles-hundreds of them-and most will remain there forever because that's how he controls the kingdom-by giving false hope".

I like how this disney movie is not about like Asha standing up and fighting back, its the citizens who are fighting back. Many don't realize that good overcoming the bad doesn't mean a hero defeating the villan, it could also mean a revolution, the people fighing back from the King's evil grasp.

"There will be no wishing on stars ever again! In fact, there will be no more hope, no more dreams, and no escape. No chance to rise up! No one to tell any tales! No one to challenge me ever again! You... are... NOTHING!" Seriously, what's so heroic about that? What did those people even do to deserve it? And are you really sure that it's spell book talking, and not Magnifico.
