Sad the Easter Sunrise service is no longer offered to the general public. I can respect the desire to keep this beautiful place sacred and environmentally safe, but you allow weddings and other events at a price, why not do the same through a limited sell or donations of tickets? We have a home nearby and this was the main event we always looked forward to. Congratulations to VP Cory Harrison for keeping diversity and equity as the main theme in his redundant and shallow message.
Thanks for your interest in the Easter Sunrise service at Pretty Place. The service is not open to the public due to physical space and maximum capacity. Reservations related to weddings and other events must also be within the maximum capacity for safety reasons. We can assure you that every seat was filled for the service, by invitation. Diversity and equity are primary pillars of our mission at the YMCA, which is: "Following the example of Christ, build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. You can learn more about our mission and our commitment to diversity here: www.ymcagreenville.org/about-us.
Sad that the general public is no longer invited to attend such a beautiful service. Only a select few clearly from the camp and others by invitation only. I can respect the desire to preserve this beautiful place and support it, but why not offer opportunities to others who want to share in this sacred event? Possibly with the sale of a limited number of tickets? You certainly have no issue opening it up to weddings for a price. I guess this is what happens when greed takes over good-yes we too live in the area and miss attending one of the most special events of the year.
That is really sad

Hebrew symbol for GOD, (Yeshuah) in the Clouds, which turned into wings and a Halo.
As the Service progressed, the clouds connected and became a Y. The sun started to rise and made the Y red at the bottom. The Story and the sermon explained a whole new way of seeing things. A whole new World. Holy Holy Holy is our Lord, Jesus Christ, for the whole World is filled with His Glory! Thank you Father, who owns me. Y
Is this a service that will happen again this year can anyone go
“On a hill far away, stood an old, rugged cross…..”. At a pretty place, celebrating the victory of Jesus’ resurrection was inspiring! Now, time for tending my garden.👩🏼🌾🌷
