this is a cool model, may I ask if there are any crease patterns published anywhere/are you planning to make any in the future? I find youtube tutorials a bit hard to follow

Video is good I ended up making 5 bookmarks for my text books but as a suggestion be a little slower and please give verbal explanation as it is easy bt still video at normal rate felt like 4x

Thank you very much for the tutorial! It was very clear and helpful. I liked how you drew out the creases and had the diagram in the top right corner. I was able to fold it on the first try using a 8.5 x 8.5 inch piece of colored regular copy paper with success! 😊 Also thanks to your instructions I was able to draw out a crease pattern for myself as practice and for future folding.

Pretty but not simple at all. Maybe go a little slower on complex folds so people don’t have to rewind it 5 times.

I just discovered this, I have a very similar tesselation I designed around the same time! Mine replicates the traditional lotus within the square, such that it can be tiled. Just thought it neat and interesting, we both came up with a similar collapse for a similar effect independently! Edit, this is my personal account not my origami one, if you google a dozen lotuses by Alexander Roa you should find mine, I don't have a UA-cam tutorial for it however.
