I know you touched on this briefly, but when you think about it, how utterly generic the level environments in Subspace Emissary are really do defeat the whole point of the mode. I mean, who needs such forgettable locations as the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule when you've got such enduring classics as: a typical forest. A desert plain. Some nondescript ruins. A CAVE. Truly, the spirit of creativity runs through thee, Brawl! (Those previous sentences were entirely sarcastic, if it wasn’t bloody obvious). Literally, the ONLY reason people remember SSE so fondly is because of the cutscenes (probably the subspace gunship one in particular), but one good cutscene does not a good mode make! Why not have the characters cross over into each other's worlds, like, y'know... every other crossover EVER?

64 and Melee allowed you fight against CPUs in the regular Smash mode

When you have the remakes in mind Super Circuit has some of the best tracks in the series so many bangers

This was my first Smash game, so I have a lot of love for it. The Subspace Emissary may not be perfect, but I greatly prefer it over World of Light. And I think the main reasons why it got a T rating are because of its more realistic graphics, Snake's inclusion plus his final smash, some cutscenes in the Subspace Emissary, and also being able to see Peach's underwear

Great video on Super Mario RPG. I never played the original SNES version but i loved the remake on Switch. My only complaint was how short the game is. I'm used to Square Enix rpgs being at least 30-40 hrs, especially with their Final Fantasy games.

Just found this video and it was pretty well done overall, I agree with a lot of points you made and I think Mega Man 5 is especially enjoyable when you're replaying it (even compared to other entries). That said, I disagree with one thing you said by quite a lot. I find that most of the weapons are underwhelming at best, which has been the basis of most discussion regarding this game. Star Crush: Shield weapon that breaks super quickly (as with all other shields not named Junk Shield or Jewel Satellite), and it's only sometimes useful against the giant gigachad robots. Other than that it's not worth the time/effort imo Gravity Hold: One of the weapons I think is decent, good screen wipe, no complaints there Gyro Attack: Only really useful for bosses, enemies on ceilings can be hit with Gravity Hold and the power output isn't that great Crystal Eye: Another decent weapon, but it doesn't do much that the buster doesn't already cover since the smaller bits of it deal little damage Napalm Bomb: Slow, zero range, gimmicky, just use the buster. Also it got the game banned in Vietnam Power Stone: I don't need to explain this one. Hitting mosquitoes with raisins would be easier than using this weapon Charge Kick: Cool idea, but in practice shooting + running is far more consistent, and the weapon doesn't even kill that many enemies Water Wave: You can only use it on the ground and it's pretty weak Beat: Super overpowered, no wonder it got nerfed in Mega Man 6 TL;DR the weapons are absolutely not on the same level as Mega Man 2, where most weapons are at least viable (except maybe Bubble Lead and Crash Bomber). Again, they're not all bad, but it should speak volumes that it hardly took me over an hour to beat this game Buster Only. Good video tho, keep it up :)
