Lubricating the jetter on the outlet of AR Blue Clean model BM3000 / MAXX3000. Why would you need to do this? If the pump isn't going into bypass after pressurizing when you release the trigger, it is likely that this jetter has gotten stuck.

Release Hose From Reel On AR390SS, BC390HSS, SHP2000
Переглядів 632 роки тому
The hose can be released from the reel by pulling a wire pin on the side of the hose reel. Pull it just far enough that it snaps, then the hose should pull right out. Be sure to push the pin back in before reinserting the hose as well! #arblueclean #electricpressurewasher #highpressurewasher #troubleshooting

    • @jkonoch
      @jkonoch 5 місяців тому

      Hey, @MrElixer26. There's no real troubleshooting at this point. The video is merely showing how to get to the water inlet pipe so that it can be replaced. The pipe can be screwed counter-clockwise to remove it, then just replace with the new water inlet pipe!. If you're having trouble though, you should try calling the customer service line 1-866-235-5112.

      @@jkonoch thanks for the reply, I have a fairly new pressure washer that’s just out of warranty. I think it’s just dirty because I noticed the filter on the intake was not on it.

    I could be wrong as i cant see the plug well but it looks like it is an LCDI. Im not familiar with any gfc plug without a ground terminal. Hence the g in gfi. An LCDI is similar but doesnt trip due to faulty ground. They are to trip when there is voltage leakage or bleed thru usually in older cables or damaged cables befire there is an arc and fire soon to follow. There are a bunch of folks getting confused or misinformed about the two type plugs. If you are having issues with an cable like this read the info carefully to insure you replace with the proper plug type. Both will have a reset button and test button. However they are not the same thing. Most of the time youllbfind LCDI plugs allready attached to a cable and are to replace the whole cable as there is a problem internally. A gfi may not trip before an internal short starts a fire. Even then if the fire doesnt directly envolve the cable shorting to ground it wont trip at all until that ground is effected.

    • @tedlahm5740
      @tedlahm5740 9 місяців тому

      I do not believe a GFCI trips because of a fault to the ground terminal as you state. In fact, a GFCI is often used in a two wire AC circuit WITHOUT a ground conductor. Therefore in conclusion, if anything it is a misnomer. comment please

    Mine has 4 connections inside,. Gnd, hot, neutral and a set of copper wire that are wrapped around the hot and neutral.. separate connection…. Not connected to ground and if you do tie one end to ground it immediately trips the plug.., cant figure out what the wires do on the appliance end.. if i leave them open then it wont trip via eddie currents.

    I have a Sun Joe pressure washer that seems to have a problem at the GFCI plug...this video was very helpful if I can take the plug apart the same way you did with this one. By any chance would the plug housing becoming warm on the outside prior to the failure of the plug indicate something wrong internally? I appreciate you making this video.

    All my outdoor receptacles have a GFCI. Does anyone see any reason why I can't just cut off the built in GFCI, replace with a regular 3 prong plug, and plug that into the GFCI receptacle? I'm still protected.

    • @jkonoch
      @jkonoch 2 роки тому

      I'm no electrician, so I can't say one way or the other - but I would posit that the manufacturer built it the way they did for a reason and it would likely be for the best to keep things within their specifications.

    I have to wiggle my plug just right for my inflatable hot tub to turn on now. Would replacing this help solve my issue? I’ve already checked the outlet and found out it’s my cord where it’s plugs in at and how it’s positioned in the outlet which causes it not to work if it’s just plugged straight in. I got to push it in to the left because it seems like there is a short or something idk.

    I took my Summer Waves pool pump plug apart last night and it looks just like this but with a ground. The pump worked one day then didn't the next. I took the plug apart to try to figure out why. I was excited to find this video but you don't show the piece you replaced or mention where to get it. It looks like you took it apart and then put it right back together. If I look for a GFCI replacement how do I know if I'm getting the correct size/type?

    • @jkonoch
      @jkonoch 4 роки тому

      You're absolutely correct. The plug I used was perfectly fine, so I put it right back on. Now, each one has its own specifications so you'll need to get those from the plug you remove. Typically you can find replacements at electric supply shops, this is your best bet aside from searching online, and sometimes you can find them at hardware stores too.
