The spa at Hotel Xcaret is the most breathtaking spa I have ever seen and experienced in the world. It sits open to the nature around it and is surrounded by a crystal blue cenote. You almost made me spill my drink how you gon say you specialize in "budget family friendly travel" when you're showing a video of a 5 diamond Hotel that charges a minimum of $900/night for a small family of 4, how is that considered budget friendly ? I called the Reservation center and they do not offer anything less than $900 per night for my family of 2 adults and 2 small children. How are you guys affording this? Mind you, this is not even including flights! oh lord!!
🤣 hear me out. For this trip, we spent 4 days, 3 nights. So we got to stay and enjoy for 4 full days and only paid for 3 and left late that evening to switch hotels by the airport. Back then it was averaging $500/night for 2 people. Adding the kids because they were under a certain age was not very much more. The entire trip for 4 for 4 nights ended up being around $2000, INCLUDING flights! I didn't pay for food, activities, nada! I paid more than that going on domestic trips because of having to pay for food! So if you follow me, I can teach you how to do things on a budget. There's levels to this 😉
And another note, if you book with a travel agent, like myself you get access to more discounts that could potentially get your flights for free when you bundle your flights and hotel purchase! This is more than just an all inclusive because it includes all of the Xcaret parks and several excursions. Imagine going to Cancun and paying a la carte for these things. People are sleeping on travel agents because Expedia and Hotwire have people thinking they can cut out the middle man and do it on their own. Funny thing, travel agents don't cost you a dime because they are paid by the companies who are being booked! Feel free to contact me Sal. This hotel is full of racist people .They treat black people horribly .I highly reccomend another resort if your litteralt black .They are racist and and generated fake covid positive tests to keep me and my son in Mexico so we would have to stay longer and pay more every night .Drinks are okay they very watery ,a lot of what is seen on video is different t in real life .

Thank you for posting this! Can I ask a question about DCL transport to the port -- do you have to pick up your luggage from the bus at the port, or does Disney take care of getting it loaded for you?
Yes! They take care of the bags as soon as you check in at the airport terminal, you won't have to think about them again until they arrive at your stateroom on the the ship! Just remember to pack a carry-on with swim suits, passports, and other things you may need while embarking. Rooms weren't ready until after 4 pm for us. There are very nice, clean bathrooms everywhere, if you need to change. Also, if you stay at the hotel in the airport (Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport), they will take the luggage to the DCL shuttle check in for you. Just have your tags that DCL sent you, via mail, on them.

Fun fact: There is an eleveator to get you to the top of the spiral tower / pyramid that has the church, it's on the opposite side of the stairs. fun fact 2: The cars at the bottom will also take you to the top if you ask someone to take you
Funny thing, we learned this after I climbed all the way up for our dinner reservation. Needless to say, I worked up quite an appetite that night!
