    Yeah,. Do make some more videos on this Candice.. ! & Ya about the problems I had been through.. I had a group of guests just very recently - including the bride's dad attacking a caterer at the wedding because the food was delayed by 30mins.. it was breakfast time and mahnn it was the first meal of the entire event..(breakfast was happening just after the checkin) .. they all verbally attacked him in a group, yelled at him calling him the worst caterer, and what not... Mahn it was raining in bits & pieces again and again,. The kitchen was far by from the breakfast area.. & the venue was huge .. And then we had to take the entire blame for suggesting that caterer.. if I see it the other way around , the caterer could have even left the venue for all these behaviors.. but you know the sad part - i felt so bad that the caterer was criticised so much on the first breakfast itself that too it was a general breakfast & not even during the event.. AlI really want to know this "don't you think that don't you think it affects his mindset to work for the entire day .. ?" I don't know what clause to add in my contract about this.. because I really feel that these things can affect the entire Event.. we had 4 events lined up in front of us.. the caterer is being attacked at 11.30 am in the morning about the breakfas while the lunch had to start by 1 pm.. these people were wasting his time again & upon that the bride and groom just blamed the caterer and deducted his payment for the delay that happened during the event.. The bride and groom solely took the decision for the entire Wedding & guess what ? "We were the worst planners because this happened".. the sad part is after one bad incident , it seems like the entire event is not gonna seem good even if it's good.. honestly a pathetic guest list to maintain.. do make a video on this- & about what we can do when such things come up..

    Money doesn’t make someone an ideal client to work with. Money will only exaggerate qualities a person already processes.

      @candice.coppola 2 дні тому

      Money actually does make someone an ideal client to work with - and it doesn't exaggerate qualities, lol. In the wedding industry, the amount of money someone has to spend on their wedding is the number one indicator as to whether they're an ideal client for a specific vendor. Numbers need to line up in order to make the right match - for the vendor AND the client.

    What annoyed me about HoneyBook is I got the $200 price increase (annual plan) just 5 or so days AFTER I paid for the next year. I wrote to them and said the increase was too much, I'll need to find another platform - and I asked if they would pro-rate a refund. They said no. So after paying for the next year....what do I do? I cant get my money back - and it is preventing me from moving to another platform for a year.

    I understand the price increase; however, I’ve switched from HoneyBook to Planpage to get rid of multiple platforms I was using for my business! I love it because it was built specifically for wedding and event planners. 🥰 it seems like EVERYTHING is increasing, which made me take a hard look at my expenses and cut things where it doesn’t make sense. 🤷‍♀️

    It’s not the increase, it’s the rate of increase. What about client delivery systems, website hosting, and all the other systems we use? If they catch wind of HB getting by with a $100-$200 increase, why can’t they? Capitalism, right? Make more regulated increases is all.

      @DanielCewinski 2 дні тому

      @@candice.coppola Absolutely, yes. Not 50% though. HoneyBook is an invaluable tool for my biz, and I am totally staying on. I am just saying that let's not give a pass to ONE of the many worthwhile tools of our businesses lest they all raise rates at such a steep rate. Could you imagine Adobe, Aftershoot, PicTime all popping off with a 50% increase?! Granted, these are small percentages of my overall annual income. Certainly not going to burn me to the ground, just a bit steep in my opinion is all.

    After diving into email marketing, I have found Mystrika to be my secret weapon. The analytics features are crystal clear and help me adjust my strategies effectively. This video is spot on in addressing the cold email vs. social media debate! For me, Filter Bounce has been crucial in verifying my lists.
