when you find out this price is 5x more than the average salary of Vietnam, you will realize this is actually $25k/ month in the US to compare the salary vs rent ratio =)) Yes, house price and rental rate in Vietnam are crazily stupid to compare to the salary and cost of living. a household of 2 with both having 4 year college degree ( $750/ month salary combine) and still cant even afford the rent of 2 bed apartment in a normal area, not this luxury

@@SaigonCribs I am saying for the average ratio of salary vs cost of living, Vietnam is a lot more expensive than Western countries. For example, USA. Average salary of it is $75k/ year which is about more than 20-25 times of Vietnam, but its average house price is only about $350k-400 k which is just not much more expensive than Vietnam.( maybe 20-50% more expensive than Vietnam’s average house price) Now you see the simple math? With a salary of 1 person in the US, plus their 30 years fixed and low interest rate, plus only 0-3% down payment requirement, every single person with thay average salary can easily buy a house in the US. Now wonder with an average salary of $4k-4.5k in VN and a terrible system of putting a lot of money for downpayment, plus high interest rate changing months and years, and short term mortgage, wonder who can afford to buy? Cant even buy in a rural area lol
