Did 8 months lol ;) NO its not really a yz, it's a DT from year 2000 cut up

Don't get too salty in the comments, this engine is a phase 2 m51 that has a weak head and is not very reliable the head gasket was gone, and I wanted to beat on it a bit before swapping it for a pre 1995 m51 out of a mk1 e36.

I ended up later low temp soldering some aluminium sticks over it as it had some pinholes. Thanks for watching! And feel free to tell me what I did wrong with the arch welding sticks ;D

my old 318tds with a chimney and bigger turbo with stage 2 eproms and welded diff

Stock pump, stage 1 map, external waist-gate, but the turbo takes too long to spool up and bairly spools without evrymod so I'm either going to go with a compound setup or smaller turbo ;)

Raw riding footage, The bike has a bad clutch, so it's constantly grabbing makes it a bit hard to change gears and carb needs a rebuild and tune

Fun fact i've rode this bike on the daily for over 3years with the yx125 engine and i almost never maintain it so i 100% recommend this engine but it has lost a bit of power but that's to be expected
