Poor David getting hope for Cinema in the 90s. Trust me, as someone born in 94, we recognize that art stopped being art in the 90s. From movies to tv to music, nothing has been the same since.

Ms Maftouni, thank you so much for uploading this film. I have David and Kristin books. David's death is a huge loss. I will watch the other two interviews too. Do you know Mark Cousins? He has made several films on Iranian cinema. Best wishes, Stephen.

Had him for a film theory course at NYU in 1979 and since then read 4-5 of his books. I particularly like The Rhapsodes, and he continues to influence my thinking. My condolences to the inestimable Ms. Thompson.
