Thanks I’m glad you liked the video. You are correct, the cylinder has 12 notches. I pulled it out of the safe to be sure. Since making this video I picked up a SA Starr, it has 12 notches as well. I do miss the Remington #10’s and had much better results. I have a few left in one tin from the 90’s. I have had to change all of my revolvers over to Slix Shots.

My son plays that and I thought the same thing.

@@firearmsaddictloveguns he'll yeah brother love that for you how is it more or less recoil then a normal size hunting 12 gauge pump shotgun?

@@TylorAcostahonestly I can’t tell much if any difference between the V3 Tac13 and any other full size semi auto shotgun. Remington did a great job designing the Versaport and the way it Self-regulates gas pressure, based on the length of the shell. I would like to find some wood furniture for this one and take it to the skeet range. I think it would get some interesting looks. CDNN had some, but I didn’t order in time and missed out.

I understand that recoil absorption is the modern day belief. The reality of shooting it is that it has no recoil. As I said in the video hooking over something make it very difficult to hit a target as well. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

@@firearmsaddictloveguns There were larger versions with longer tubes that did have significant recoil.

@@EvurchosenHAHAXDyes I understand that and having cannon’s that I shoot. I can see the hooks in the larger versions being used to absorb recoil. I have tried hooking this firearm over several different things, including a stone wall the hight of a parapet and it makes the process of shooting and aiming more difficult.

@@firearmsaddictloveguns Ultimately it was a very early design of a firearm so it's no wonder it's difficult to aim with no matter how one tries. I do like the idea of the hook being a last resort melee weapon though.

@@EvurchosenHAHAXDit’s super interesting for sure. I have a Loshult gun in the works. The barrel is done, I just have to finish making the projectiles and base for it.

Midway has had them as well as Gun Mag Warehouse they were very hard to find for quite some time.

If it’s the cutout that I think you’re referring to. It is there to accommodate the bolt and safety for left hand models. It’s my understanding that way Remington could use the same mold for both right and left hand models.

@firearmsaddictloveguns I own the same Tisas 1911, and it's 100% not OD green buddy. One is made with a gray-ish type finish, and other Tisas 1911 WW2 replica 1911s they make are parkerized. They don't do OD green finishes on their 1911s. Rock Island has, but not this specific version of the 1911 you have in your video. Either you're mistaken or colorblind. With that said great video, you just got the color wrong.
