Some heavy AvE vibes are coming from this...
Thanks to your information
Thanks for making video. Found a near dead round-no switch type so cleaned it out then charged battery (cr123a-3v 15wh) using alligator clips connected to nitecore charger.
Play scum much hahaha you sound just like gaming central
Hello, great video. Thank you... it is possible to make a start/stop function for air compressor? Some one do it?
Here's a handy tip: If your heat shrink is slightly too small, stick a pair of needle nose pliers in it and pull the handles apart to expand it. Often, you can get a temporary 10% additional diameter. Usually just enough extra to make it slip over whatever was a tight fit.
This is precisely the video I was looking for, you nailed it! thank you so much! I hope to learn the in's and outs of electrical theory to a capacity that allows me to build and effectively use hardware in ways that i >current<ly 🤭 know nothing about!
Thank you for this video, I had 1 like the purple 1 but the charge went dead(it's rechargeable) I used the razor to move the bottom piece and it works.
The cart I can't open is the Drip 2 gram disposables. This things are like a safe.
Здрасти, как/къде мога да се свържа с теб?

Is there a way to fix it if its not working
hey there, do you have a BOM for this board? couldn't see it on pcbway.
You can find it on PCBWay search for "PCBWay Electronic screwdriver motherboard". There is also link to github repo.
what about when you cant get the battery out??????????????????????>???????????????
Hey this is sweet! i am going to make one of these
You can also active it by blowing on it!
Sir , If you find 850mah battery 3.7v same type like on your video , how much current (milliamps) are the best way for charging..thanks
The best way to charge the 850mAh ones is at 4.2v 420 milliamps
Sir If you find 850mah battery 3.7v same type like on your video , how much current (milliamps) are the best way for charging..thanks
You should consult the datasheet. Some times it is written in mAh, some times it is in C rate.

hi ! have you figured out how to make a sensot like this be always on ?
Hey hi, unfortunately no. At first I didn't even know that there is a cut off.
Excellent! Thanks.
I found some small strip bms s online, how do I choose one with the correct protection? Thank you!
Depends on the cell. On each cell has a number for example 802648. You need to find the datasheet for that particular cell. For example: maximum voltage the battery can be charged up to. Most common value is 4.2V for a 3.7V battery. I know strange right a 3.7V can in some cases be 4.2V. The next one is the cut off voltage. You are using your battery and as you go the voltage drops and drops. If it drops bellow certain value your cell is no good. Common value is 2.8V but some cells can go lower to 2.5V. At 2.8V your battery is out of juice, if you go lower you will damage it and most likely would not be able to charge it up. And another one is how fast you can discharge the battery, i.e how much current can you take out if in any given time. It could be 400mA and also could be 5 Amps. Depends on the battery. And last but not least the BMS should be for this specific type of battery i.e. its chemistry. You can't charge a nickel metal hydride battery with lipo charger. Good luck and be careful.
Hey, somehow I ended up at your video when I was trying to understand how my vapes know when I am inhaling. I guess that means you have the best explanation on the web at the moment!
How would I get led to stay on constantly? Can you hack the combustion seal! Hack of the day link not working…
3.5-5v is usual working volt
Gr8 info, I was looking for how this works. As I wanted to mount it in my car as a warning light fake alarm type led. But idk how to make it flash or stay on constantly? My led is blue a nice aqua blue
How can i get this
I took apart a vape pen that I found in the parking lot, and that sensor had puzzled me to kn end. I was sure it was a microphone... I can't believe that this (and the Li rechargeable battery) is disposable. What a waste ... By the way, my guess for the reason why the LED is delayed - it's supposed to look like the glow of a cigarette that has that delay when you drag on it.
Does anyone know the name or part name of this specific sensor, or the vape that was taken apart in this video? I am looking to purchase one of these specific sensors.
What screwdriver
My rubber got stuck inside the smoke thingy😂
Aa
hello, is there any chance i can change that sensor with a normal push button switch to deliver electricity from the power source?
Sure, nothing is stopping you, but you run the risk of setting something on fire.
why do they use that foam to deep the oil in? seems like a health hazard. were burning microplastics that secret into the oil and the cotton heater component.
So some vapes use flow sensors and others capacitive ones?
Really inspiring friend, bravo 🌠
they must be banned internationally. There is so much pointless toxic waste after them. Lithium in the batteries contaminates the ecosystem, and even we will feel one day when a war comes and we have to drink from wells. In Ukraine people did it.
Brilliant idea ! .... do not forget to re-use the vape rechargeable battery ! ( make SURE the charge voltage does not exceed 4.2 Volts , a silicon diode in series with 5 Volt USB should work ) ... DAVE™🛑
How do I find & buy the electronic components for vape pins, also do you know the name of the breathing sensor so I can purchase it. I couldn't understand you when you said the term name
Yes but if you trigger the output for more than about 8 seconds it automatically shuts off.
Heyy my vape is not generating vapour
Ok... I just took one from the street and i just want to use it to produce some smoke.. to test my TURBO and INTERCOOLER for leaks! :D I didn't even knew how this thing works but now as I see i could overcome the sensor and start heater only but I needED info about lowest voltage which can start this thing to smoke...
Reieve switch.
Make a game controller with it for buttons. ;)
After breaking open several sensors, they're all similar, with a diaphragm, conductive on one side. It would be nice to make it into an electret or capacitor microphone, though unfortunately you cannot connect to both the diaphragm and its fixed "plate" without opening and thereby destroying the vape sensor capsule. As I don't smoke, I have no idea how e-cigs work for their consumer use!
Its not an electret. The membrane is however conductive and can be used for other projects. Alpha particle sensor anyone?
@@conundrum2007 I did write electret OR capacitor microphone. Your biggest obstacle is connecting to it, without destroying the capsule.
@@bilonggrisimmeri Low melting point alloy??
@@conundrum2007 Can you explain please? I do not understand how a low melting point alloy can help make this electrical connection? If you mean solder, why not suggest solder?
How do you de-case the metal shell off the sensor without damaging the internal parts
Hey Blake, I wasted a lot of sensor. So far I don't have reliable way of disassembling. Sorry
@@lessbutbetter9485 aahh OK yes same problem I'm having once I've destroyed it I can get it out Lol. Thanks for the reply and the informative video.
This was just what i was looking for. Do you think i could solder two more wires and attach an USB connector, so i could charge the battery connected to the sensor?
Hi Luiz thanks for the comment. As Zeki said connecting wires is not good strategy. You are risking damaging the the battery and/or the device you connect the USB to. For sure you will need some sort of charger module with the necessary protections. Stay safe!
this is awesome. do you have a link to the circuit board on pcbway so we can make our own?
Hi there! As this project was sponsored by PCBWay you can find it there. Here is a link for your convenience www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Electronic_screwdriver_motherboard_426e96a0.html
Thanks for this.
I love your soldering iron. I would really appreciate a link to it so I can order one. I’ve had bad luck with irons. My last 2 went bad at the wire coil within the stems core.
Hey Britt, the soldering iron in the video is TS100. You can find it on amazon, ebay or aliexpress. It is a good soldering iron, but for small packages like resistors, caps and MCUs. If you are soldering something with big ground planes or large wires, you will need something beefier. It also requires a 12-24V adaptor for power and usually it doesn't come with one. Note that soldering iron is one factor of many. You will need the correct solder and flux. Also you will need to set the correct temperature and use the correct tip for your soldering iron. Take a look at Pace instructional videos on soldering (search for "pace basic soldering" here in UA-cam). The videos are old, but man they explain the fundamental really good. After that revise your technique, maybe your soldering iron is just fine and the cause of your problems is something else. Cheers and good luck!
Bro elfbar vape sensor not work plese reply i can buy sesor
What is name of this sensor
hi! I'm incredibly inspired by your video for a project and have extracted a bunch of the led chips (around 64) and was wondering if it would be possible to make it into an LED cube? I would love to learn more about how it works and any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for making this video!
Hey Sen, those SMD are quite small for a cube. From what I have seen on the internet people usually wire through hole LED together to form the cubes. The Surface Mounted Device Light Emitting Diode (SMD LED) might be better for lets say some kind of a ring or bracelet, something with a substrate. A great choice to polish those soldering iron skills.
