What kind of a neighborhood is that house built in? Because the house next to it doesn’t look like a very good neighborhood.
It’s an up and coming neighbourhood. The average price of a house here is $1.4m So you can still buy something here for a reasonable price but on the other end there are homes selling for over $3m
Funny it just came out that Toorak has the most Billionaires of any suburb in Australia… Pffft Sydney , quality not width is what matters… lol
I saw that same article! Pretty amazing that a suburb with no ocean views, or bay views and Is land locked has the most number of Billionaires. I thought for sure it would have been Sydney.

Its one big scam. It’s the government fault. They keep spending. Why they keep spending the interest rate will keep going up. The government could not give a shit about the people. You will own nothing you will have nothing and be happy about it.

Ok, fair enough. I didn't leave substance to my comment. Here are the reasons I don't currently like Enphase battery systems. I'm open to being wrong about this stuff. 1. 200 amps of passthrough but only 16 AMPS of backup power? They are the lowest amperage battery systems on the market. I'd have to do 2 Encharge 10's just to get to 32 amps, so after all that expense, I still can't run my air conditioner. Price/amps they are the worst by about double. 2. The battery is rated for "outdoor" but if you read the fine print, if direct sunlight ever touches the casing, it voids your warranty for overheating. So unless I build a roof around this thing, I can't have it outside as advertised. 3. Because I can't have the battery outside but the smart switch transformer (can't remember what that's called) typically is installed by the meter, I need to run more wires between the two and the blutooth communication is weak (hopefully they fixed that). 4. AC-coupled batteries are inferior to DC-coupled. Instead of coming up with a new inverter, they just cram a bunch of their I8's in with the battery. How 'bout they come up with a new solution so they're not so limited? 5. Training was painful and long to go through. Install is needlessly complicated. For a non-battery system, Enphase is great (except the price, compared to AP Systems). They are just way behind on battery systems and it's hard to start over. Let me know your thoughts. The biggest thing leading to inflation was the government handing out free money. What you do with your free money from COVID. Harvey Norman made big profits of people spending their free money instead of saving it.
I agree, free money, people accessing their super and going on a spending free after lockdowns ended. It all caught up
Because the Government was to scard to raze the GST ,so it was a ploy to create inflation giving the Government a win fall of including the GST 16.4% + and Rising ?….JB
I agree, increasing GST temporarily could have helped to curb inflation then it could have been reduced after 12 months. Instead of just smashing interest rates

The Government are gaining a windfall as it appears to be orchestrated GST at 10% inflation at 6.4 % .and now included that was supposed to be GST. Free of GST Now included plus inflation 6.4 % food and rising , then of course Fuel contributing to the high price of food .And taking the words of a Eminem scientist who once said .WHY IS IT SO = GREED AND POWER …JB
Love it mate! So true. I’d love to know what our income tax rate worked out to be if you factored in every tax we are also charged on every single item we purchase. Because it’s not just GST that’s just the obvious one there are huge taxes on everything else we buy like alcohol, fuel, cars ect.

The real cause of inflation worldwide was governments printing trillions of dollars during the covid panic and flushing it through the economy. If something has a value because of its scarcity, making it less scarce (making more of it) devalues it. Then the Gov lies and says inflation is 7.5% when everyone sees groceries, fuel, and everyday consumer goods rise by 30% in a year. The gov and RBA is incompetent but they were just following what every other western country did.
I agree with that sentiment every other country has done the same but doesn’t make it right and government spending has absolutely been the major cause of inflation 🙌

Large corporates are causing inflation by price gouging and the Australian government is happy about this because they collect tax from the profits. Increasing the interest rates is about keeping the AUD in line with the USD. The effect on home borrowers is just a fallout.
