I own a Suzuki Marauder vz 800 motorcycle, year 1998, 25,000 km. When I drive at 120 km/h, the coolant light comes on. Can you help me, what do you think the problem is?

Ckeck wire harness near the kickstand for arc to ground.

Eather blown fuse or pull cluch in when starting make shure not in natural

Your bypass is on the other side where the solenoid is

My light is not turning on with jump box hooked up and does run with it off where would that fuse be located?

I have a 2002 marauder. I have the same problem I checked the battery and starter motor, regulator and solved this problem. Good luck!!

I've checked and tested on off switch key switch starter switch all is fine turn key on all my blinkers all my lights work fine starter button will not send a signal to the solenoid mmm relay is bypassed I can bypass solenoid to make work but bike will not fire starter button doesn't work and it will not fire what do you think it is please help

My bike os doing the same thing but ots a 98. But if i put it in gear and pushing it back and forth putting it back in neutral and usually makes the button work it's weird it works when it wants to

Same issue with mine manual says to check the safety interlocks most can be bypassed

Does your lights come on or anything? I have some problem with mine where nothing comes on but it isn't the battery. I was riding it home after buying it and stopped to get gas. Went back to crank it after getting the gas and it wouldn't start. Light wouldn't come on, horn won't work, etc. I have no idea what to do. I can't believe I didn't even get to ride it all the way home.

I'm about to change out the starter solenoid relay on my 97 Intruder 800 damn thing is doing the same thing smh hopefully it works I seen another video of a guy wiring the relay wires together and it worked for him but I'm going to replace the part it's self because it's only 6 bucks on ebay.

I honestly just turn the key on like if I was going to start it when I did this I would go into 1st push it like tryna push start then let go of the clutch won't start but somehow it will start up after I tried the button again if u still have the bike u should try this

did you make sure it's in neutral I know it might sound silly but sometimes it's the silly things that get you I left mine in first before and didn't realize it and thought they were some problem it soon realized I had in first and put it in neutral started right up

It's the relay connected to the fuse box. Just had the same exact problem with my bike. Number on the relay should be. FE249JR

Dust and debris can build up in the electrical components on your handlebar and prevent electrical communication when a button or switch is pressed. Take apart your electrical components attached to you clutch and clean the copper plates which need to touch each other when you pull in the clutch. Take apart cutoff switch w/ start button and clean all the electrical parts. I learned this lesson the hard way on my 1998 Suzuki intruder 1500.

Hello I had an identical problem on my marauder VZ800 from 1997, the solution was to replace the starter motor !!

Check out the MMM Module removal videos. There's plenty online. Have you tried starting the bike by bridging the starter solenoid with a screwdriver?

there could be multiple issues with it not starting im having similar issue and whenever it doesn't crank thats could be because for some reason the electrons are being blocked somehow from going to the starter. i checked all my connections there are few components that control the starting theres the starter relay, theres ignition switch, ignition fuse, main module and bank angle sensor. also lot of times the battery goes bad and if you check its volts after charging it will display normal 12.7v or 13.9 but it won't have the current(amps) needed to turn the starter. so it will turn lights on horn will work but won't crank. most probably i think its two things that could be causing it on mine one is bank angle sensor which senses an extreme angle or falling bike and cuts off the power. Under the tank the wires sometimes rubs and causes shorts or broken insulation could be one of reason. and since the previous owner of my bike let the bike out stand in rain so corrosion could be also an issue as sometime wen i flip the the ignition switch from park 'P' to 'on' and then press start botton its cranks and starts. so im gonna take ignition swtich out and look for corrosion in it. as well as inspect bank angle sensor. as i have checked all the relays and fuses and they are receiving the battery power but its just not being delieverd to starter.

i changed that switch and mine started up and has been great ever since. dont use a jump wire connect wires direct

No it still wont turn.. thank you for the idea though..when I put a strait wire to the starter solenoid terminals it starts right up. But I need the switch to work haha.

On mine it was the ignition just turn the key back a hair an try or tap on it or did you already find the problem
