If the hype were true, pros would never hit a bad shot. I got fitted, it's all about your swing. Spot on!
@@danarcotta1283 Thanks for watching and appreciate the love!!
7 wood in that G430 looks way better at address than the hybrid
I love the 430 hybrid. Have never swing a 7 wood
Yeah nah I'd rather a 7, 8 or a 9 wd than a hybrid
I get it…different strokes
So your "tip" is to be Tony Finau 👍🏻
Well can all take some pieces from the best players in the world.
Going to try this today
Let me know how it works out. You can also take some down the line videos and get them to me. I can analyze them for you to see what’s going on in your swing. I’m here to help!!
Appreciate the solid keys to the swing. Dropping golden nuggets of info.
Appreciate that KC. You can reciprocate by telling me what stocks will be up 100% by the end of 2025. Asking for a friend.
Cheers well done.
Nice. Needed this one. Can’t wait for Part 2.
Correct!!! I just get out and play . I tend to over think everything. Just hit the ball and move . Depending upon the situation, I'll grab whatever club that works for me. I've played my best when I don't worry about my score.
@@christopherfly3998 All day Chris!! You have to focus but don’t be so serious. Just a game my man!! Happy Holidays
@ChrisGravesGolf Merry Christmas to you as well!!!
I've had rounds like that, after a few bad holes in a row, I got up to the tee and said that is the end of that $ --t! I proceeded to bomb a drive 240 yards down the middle, land on the green and 2 putts for a par on the hardest hole on the course. I never made par on that difficult hole. I now know that I'm capable of playing pretty good golf. Just visualize the shot and easy peasy japanesy ( eddy lowery in the greatest game ever played )😜
@@danarcotta1283 Haha!!! Love that.
I have the same battle going on between my 5 wood and 3 hybrid. Even though I give up a little distance with the 3 hybrid, it's more consistent.
@@mikeb3835 I have come to the realization that I’m sticking with my 3 Hybrid for now
Your arms are causing your body to lift too high. I don't like your backswing.
Everything is an exaggeration when showing different parts of the swing. Thanks watching and commenting
Distance means nothing if its in the wrong direction. Its why I play 3 iron over 5 wood. Sure I can hit a 5 wood high and far but ill never slice a 3 iron I to the trees off the trees. 20 yards isnt worth the drop or missed fairway or missed green
Love your thought process on this. Appreciate the input. Yeah I’m going to stick with the hybrid
We have an annual outing to the Philippines . I'll buy whatever balls or clubs when I'm there. It's worth the cost of airfare.
@@christopherfly3998 So you are telling me that I can hide in the luggage for the trip. Thanks Chris Fly!!
@ChrisGravesGolf Man, your size would need a trunk. But you'll pay a third to half for equipment and apparel. The same if you travel to Guam.
With u on everything..1 other thing is people need to be ready to play/hit...
@@kennypulsifer2037 Indeed Kenny!!
No on the dress code. If you lower it the trash will come out.
New Zealand 365 🏌️
NZ in the house!!
Texas
Big state!! What city?!
Cedar City, Utah. I lived there for a year or so and the course offered 1 year golf, walking for $715 $75 one time range pass Unreal deal and a beautiful area
Buts it too cold half the year right??
@ only 3 months is cold, but I still would play every once in a while
Florida, south carolina, or georgia
I’m seriously considering somewhere in SC
Chris I usually hit the ground before the ball when I hit from the inside out.
@@deehn4140 Awesome!!! So happy for you. Keep grinding
I think you misunderstood. I hit the driver with my driver, then I hit the ball.
@@deehn4140 ohhhhhh!!! So you are bottoming out to early. Got it! You are probably coming too far from the inside. Starts from the backswing. I’ll do a video about this soon
@ Great. Thank you sir.
Brilliant explanation Sir . Lee Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺

maxim! thank you 😍
You are so welcome!!
Ty so much sir
Hopefully it helps your game in some way
This is a great video on how to APPLY force and power to the ball. Coupled with a strong grip, as described in your `strong grip` video, the image of swinging a hammer is very effective.
Appreciate the comment!!
Thank you ❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
That's a very old brill brother. Brings back memories. Been playing golf 40 years. Learned that from older golf pro at my local course. He told me he learned that drill when he was young.
@@PeterPula-z9k That means I’m doing something right!! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks 👍
Appreciate the love
Great points on what part I'd body should where and when
Thanks! Hopefully it helps your game
Love the spirit. Hogan would wear out his pants from right elbow tuck similar to what you’re talking about. I might suggest you turn the club face down so it’s parallel to your spine. Clubface is way open at p5/p6. Only way to hit from there is to cast or flip but I’m sure you were just illustrating….
Hey I really appreciate your feedback. Yes I was just trying to illustrate. I’m putting together a ‘casting’ and chicken wing video right now. Thanks for watching and commenting
I believe this is what Moe Norman means by “Every putt is a 3 foot putt.”
Finally someone else that never uses the alignment on the balls!! My excuse is my back and hard for me to bend, but never use the lines. A question. What would you say is the longest putt to use this drill for? 8 foot?
Yes, I would say about 8 feet. I would try 4,6,8. Going to be pretty hard hitting the tee at 8 feet. The alignment on balls used to just drive me crazy. Never felt comfortable. My mind was playing tricks on me. Appreciate you watching and commenting! Keep grinding
Agreed with you 100%
@@redeagle9312 appreciate you watching and the comment. Keep grinding!

What if you don't hit it past the female tees and you have to play the hole with your wiener hanging out of your zipper? What about ball position in that situation lol.
53 Hogan.
Sweet!!! Love the Hogans. Underrated clubs
I like the first way, I think I enjoy the addition😂 maybe I’m crazy
Taylor made speed soft, Callaway super soft either or I shoot in the mid 80' s sometimes the high 70' s
Bridgestone e6
Heard good things about the entire Bridgestone line. If I find one in the woods I’ll hit it down the fairway
Great tips!

@@ChrisGravesGolf I hope your channel keeps growing! Glad to help out.
Nice tips! Thank you!.
Btw, my 100 club is a choked down, 3/4 pw.
BIG rollover. Don’t do that! lol. I agree. A lot f similarities between the sports swings but with a couple of major differences. One commonality is GRF-ground reaction forces. That’s what causes the front his to push backwards.
@@rjlovell1 Definitely some major differences but what I’m taking away from the baseball swing is primarily starting the downswing from the ground up. Thanks watching and commenting!
@@ChrisGravesGolfAgreed. Sequence is huge. In Baseball it allows the hitter to create bat speed and power and like in golf attack from the inside. My golf swing is pretty much self-taught from my baseball/softball swing knowledge. Keep grinding.
You’re not going to get me to rake your leaves as a golf lesson my friend. 😂
OHHH Mr. Clarke!!! I’m sure you have plenty to rake yourself. 😂
I hit a drive and was 275 out with a bit of trouble on either side. I decided on a 5 iron safe shot. It went 200 yards, leaving me a sand wedge in , 2 putt par. I'm on the back nine of 68 and haver Never hit a 5 iron over 165
@@danarcotta1283 Sounds like you passed the class!! Awesome
Great video! Excellent tip about staying level and not trying to swing up, like the driver. I've been watching golf tip videos for as long as I have been playing (25 years). No one that I can remember ever said to keep you body level and not swinging up.
@@edsantos772 Thanks Ed! Hopefully it helps with your game
