No you will not be able to transfer to a laptop. You would need something better than this. The highest frequency is only 800 khz For more detailed structures you will need a transducer with a higher frequency, 1200khz.

Go for a larger model that takes an SD. I will take a look at what models allow snapshot of screen

I'm searching for something which can show bottom structure like a smaller car shell or a tree log etc. in that size. I don't really need very very high detals. Thank you for your effort to helping.

I have seen people using bread in shallow waters to trap the smaller mullet. Don't think the big ones will go for it. Give it a try 😀

Depending where you are. Autumn is always best and late spring. If the water gets too warm they move to deeper water

Türkiye eagean shore izmir city...we see mullets more, after may = june to december .. today sea temp. is 19. celcius here mullet better loves up to 22 celcius... school of mullets will be june .. scientific literature says autm an winter migration season so they are in far away deep seas

I am in malta. The sea is 18 degc. When it goes above 22c or 24c the move out of the bays.

@m.muvaffakismen1746 malta sea gets hot in the bays 28c so all fish move out to deep water. Then with have the season fish 🐟 mahi mahi

I am using Ape man , they have a great light sensor. One of the best I have found for underwater. And they are not expensive at all. Check their website

Remember, it's all in the camera settings.

I use a 15 lb line. Depending on how big the fish are.

You never know if the fish are coming or going. Try circling around till you pick them up again

Thanks I will write them down . Traditional 200 and clearve is at 455. Low frequency wide angle beam and higher frequency has narrow beam. In shallow water use lower frequency

Don't connect your transducer and switch on before it's in the water. They get hot 🔥

Tie 6 or 8 hooks on a short line 2 or 3 inches apart. My fishing line is around 15 to 20lb . Depending on how big the fish are. Use a weight to keep your bait down or surface fish without a weight. It depends if the fish are biting on the surface

You will surprise how many different fish will go for this😊

Even if your not catching its fun, always waiting for the big one. 😃

On a boat the bracket fixes to the back of the boat so I would presume the thin end would be pointing backwards

Sorry don't have a video. If I were you I would get the vivid 5 cv. The screen is wider gives you better visual. Check out the 5cv I think it takes SD card for charts cause the 4cv does not have this.

@@stevesshowreel. Steve I just bought the striker vivid 4cv. I think it will fulfill my needs. I wanted to keep the price down. Did you mount your transducer inside the hull? I'm thinking about making something that clips the tranducer into my transum boarding ladder and I'll place it when using the fish finder. I really don't want to mount anything to the hull.

@Jyock OK. You got options, through the Hull, fix to back of boat or on a rod below sea level. The transducer must be in the water or you will fry it. On mine I fitted a 2pin plug and just plug it into a 12v fused socket so I can unplug it when not using it. They drain a lot of power

@@stevesshowreel. I thought one option was mounting the tranducer to the inside of the hull. Similar to my depth finder in my boat now. I was wondering if that was what you did and how was the clarity. If not being in the water fry's the tranducer guess that's not an option.
