We got a new gas pedal assembly in from Speedway Motors and we ordered it unfinished since we didn't like their finished option they had available. We decided to use our Eastwood Dual Voltage Powder Coat Gun to apply Eastwood's Halycon Gold Metallic with a second coat of Eastwood's High Gloss Clear on top. DIY Rat Rod Lokar Shifter Install and Custom Transmission Tunnel Plate

We made a trans tunnel piece on the rat rod for mounting the Lokar shifter but ran into clearance issues with being able to service it. After some thought we came up with a solution that would keep it one welded piece instead of a part that has to be removable.
Didnt hear vtec cross-over !!! Oh that's right honda depends on a turbo to make power 😢 Sure miss those past times as they will never come to be again, have 2021 accord sport 2.0t 10spd and honestly scared to do any performance mods as not convinced the quality of what honda builds these days are up to the task of handling longterm especially the transmission but good stuff with video

What kinda power would this tune and setup make on stock downpipe if you were worried about passing emissions
Ive never once hit 24 psi on this tune. Tunning on 93, near sea level, doesnt matter whether its summer and 80 outside, or winter and 30 outside, its NEVER hit 24. More like 21 to 22. Which is barely above the stock 19 psi. And ive tried a fresh "unlearned" tune, and pulls after its had time to learn for several hundred miles. No difference.

Thank you, I was trying to do a burnout the other day and I kept feeling the power getting modulated back. I thought it was Hondata TC doing something, but this explains it.
How worried should I be about putting a tune like this on my stock 2.0T? Only have a Mishimoto short ram intake and a catch can installed. I have heard lots of ppl say that the stock intercooler is a problem with a tune, but if I don't do hard pulls very frequently, would it matter?
Intercooler is an ideal upgrade given the heat soak these cars happen to have due to the intake positioning, but its not item that would hold you back from having a tune, having been stage 3 from phearable for months now, i can say not only is it worth it but a whole lotta fun as well 👍🏽

for any tune do you need to drive 25 mins before testing it? I legit installed it got stage 2 tune installed and drove 3 mins then tested it right away only seen like 19 psi boost on 2021 accord then said this tune sucks and went home lol.
Also btw for all of us stick shifters out there, this technique does work on a MT accord as well.

You won't get better 0-60 with a tune when you are traction limited. The 60-120 is impressive though.
Looking at abt 5.1-3 with sticky tires, tc fully off and good weather. Would recommend an intercooler btw.
This makes me wonder how much hp gains it would get with the P700 PRL drop in turbo, exhaust, downpipe, and intake
You’d need a custom tune to take advantage of a big turbo.
At the very least 350hp

Congrats on the run but, there’s no way that RS3 is making 750hp and ran a 10 anything. Unless he let off at some point or is quoting 750bhp. Even then, he should have been in the 9’s.

On the dig, did you shift by yourself or have the car shift itself? Whenever I try a dig from second gear brake boost, it auto upshifts for me quick then I lose control of my shifting and power when foot is still on the gas.
If i go pharable stage 3 can i use 91 octane because my state dont have 93
You can run just the 91 octane tune as there are two options which is 91 and 93
91 produces less hp and torque tho, but if you wanna use 93 you can just add 1.5 gallon of e85 and the rest 91 to run it

The 91 octane tune pulls as hard, but if you wanna take full advantage of the tune I recommend going for the 93 tune

Tried this tune recently and it makes my car over heat, I got a 2022 accord 2.0t 10AT and prior to trying it out I was running k tuner stage 2. I’m full bolt ons PRL on e40 and after say a few hours maybe less it will start to make my car over heat???? Don’t know why any advice ? But with k tuner it runs perfect Knock counts stay between .49. -.56. What can it be with Pherable stage 4 flex fuel tune be doing to my car ?
Inter cooler dude & cold air intake, the car is going to generate more heat so it needs to be cooled down more

I ran a 13.5 @98mph on that tune without a downpipe
You need better tires and upper and lower torque mounts or you’ll be spinning and hopping like crazy this tube can easily get you a 13.0 sec 1/4 mile

Yes.
If you haven't got that yet, research first. I also have an LX 2019 and our cars are not meant for power. 1.5t is capable of getting the power boost but cvt transmission is not as safe as the 10speed auto on the 2.0t. There is a great chance of ruining your transmission, so you have to take the risk if you really want to get some more hps.

they have a PRL Frontpipe and Downpipe but exhaust is stock
How reliable are the 10 spd auto trannys in the newer accords 2.0t ? I am looking at them and want an auto for daily purposes but want something where if I get a tune and other power mods it won’t ruin the tranny too soon

They have bene proven to be reliable as hell so far, felix joel was pushing over 500hp ndhad over 137k miles
Nd besides him so many other people running big turbos on these pushing 500 hp nd daily there cars
I have a 2.4l 2013 sport about 130k miles on the dashboard and never had a problem with my 10 speed cvt

Yes man, these ktuners and other ECU tunes will void your warranty!!! Tune at your own risk and reflash back to stock when you go to a dealership

I was going buy a 2022 accord 2.0. But instead I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Elantra n dct and it’s completely stock right now. And I can say I’m happy with it and. By looks of it. I’d gap the hell out this accord lol and I still get 31 mpg on 93

It's better to run 98 if you're planning on a tune
