What to Know About the Arizona Honeybee Festival
The Arizona Honeybee Festival is a buzzing celebration that highlights the critical role honeybees play in our lives, held every November at Paradise Valley Community College. This family-friendly festival goes beyond entertainment, offering a full day of education, hands-on experiences, and fun activities dedicated to honeybees and their conservation. Whether you’re a seasoned beekeeper or just a fan of bees, there’s something for everyone to experience.
At the heart of the festival is the mission to raise awareness about the challenges honeybees face in Arizona, from extreme summer heat to pesticide exposure and threats like the Varroa destructor mite. Festival-goers will learn practical ways to help protect these essential pollinators, whether living in urban, suburban, or rural areas. You'll have the chance to attend beekeeping classes, visit the Beekeeping Education Booth to see tools of the trade, and learn how honeybees help pollinate crops like almonds, apples, and squash.
The festival features a variety of activities for all ages. Kids can enjoy engaging and educational games, teaching them to appreciate the importance of honeybees, while adults can browse a wide range of bee-inspired art at the gallery. A lively lineup of bands will keep the energy buzzing with great music throughout the day.
Don't forget to stop by the vendor area, where you can shop from a diverse selection of bee-themed goods-from honey and beekeeping equipment to handmade crafts and organic products. Feeling lucky? Try your hand in the festival’s popular raffle and maybe take home some unique bee-centric prizes.
And of course, no honeybee festival would be complete without delicious food! Local food trucks will be on-site, offering everything from sweet honey-based treats to savory meals. The Arizona Honeybee Festival truly has it all-a perfect blend of education, entertainment, and community, all while advocating for a better environment for our favorite pollinators. Whether you want to learn more about honeybees, support local vendors, or simply enjoy a day out with the family, this festival promises an unBEElievable time for everyone.

BEE kind and give this video a like if you enjoyed it!
Have you traveled to Texas?
We have tried the wines at Black Mesa Winery in that area before and are enjoying northern New Mexico now. Thanks
Awesome, New Mexico has wineries all over the state, a lot to explore. Enjoy, cheers!
46&2 -> 462 -> 48 -> Four 8
Also, Arizona is the 48th state!

Glad you have some fond family memories from there!
@@travelsuncorked Yeah, we mostly go there for shell collecting and feeding the seals.
@@tomboyjessie1352 love it, the seals and otters made our day!
Being local, personal faves include... chocolate, guava & haupia(coconut)... Leonard's also operates 3-4 food trucks at locations scattered across the island. FYI... Leonard's last name was Rego, which has become ensconced in local island Portuguese culture
Thanks so much for sharing! Yes, we’ve seen the trucks elsewhere around island to help more people satisfy their craving. Appreciate you sharing the history and cultural impact about Leonard, too!
Would you foot stomp wine grapes?

What's your favorite natural wonder?
What is the best donut you've had?
Why don’t you show the wine tasting room, the online tasting, the different wines they have, I didn’t learn too much just listening to you, as you walked among the vines. You need a lot more substance to compete with the other UA-camrs doing the same information.
Thanks for your feedback, we did share much of what you mentioned, including the tasting room, patio, and some varietals they have. However, check this video out --> ua-cam.com/video/EDQBu1ESswQ/v-deo.html that goes further behind the scenes and shows more of the winery and production area, cheers!
Have you tasted wines from Temecula?
Which of the PEACHY items we had would you most like to try?
The music is so loud over your narrative it's hard to hear you.
Thanks for watching and the feedback. The background music seems to come through louder for some people on certain devices.
No fair-skinned people were harmed in the making of this video. 😆
I went there in the 70's with my aunt, and mostly I remember the tide pools, and the sea anenomes.

Just a heads up. None of these wineries are in ANDERSON VALLEY - which is located in Mendocino County, not Sonoma County.
Thanks for your feedback, here is a video from the nearby Anderson Valley wine country in Mendocino County: ua-cam.com/video/zyfeUIkQBWs/v-deo.html
it’s not really like boiling because it probably doesn’t get to 212°F and the chicken doesn’t touch the water
Thanks for sharing your insight.
Sounds wrong
But it's oh so right!
Wrap it in what?
the cooking bag used to sous vide
@@travelsuncorked I'm sure your not supposed to cook it twice.
Not cooking it twice as much as its finishing what’s already been cooked with the frying. Similar to a reverse sear on a steak cooked in a smoker. 🔥
Who makes your favorite fried chicken?
How are you celebrating today?
