I followed ECS tuning guide to remove the turbos, diddnt drop the subframe though just hung it from the suspension after removing the sway bar end links. Then the single turbo install will vary a bit depending on your kit (I’m sure they will have instructions) but it’s more or less just in reverse plus some extra piping/lines.

If you’re getting a kit from speed tech it would probably be exactly the same. The general process will be similar to most kits though.

Did you cut the tab on the subframe that they say to in the instructions? The picture is hard to depict as to where it is and they don’t specify, if you did where was it? Currently doing the same kit

@@savagecr-x2438 yes I did, it was blurry as hell and not clear but it was the only tab in that area, I don’t remember if there was a hole drilled out for that tab. Let me see if I took a photo, do you have an email or contact I can sent it to if I find it

Based on my search on the forums, people are able to get a good amount of miles on these bikes without issues. Classic Japanese inline 4 formula been running these motors in many of their bikes. I don’t have the bike anymore, purchase a triumph street triple, will probably try to shoot a video on that

@@ridemtns13 Yeah its a great colour, changes quite a bit depending on the light. Get a good mix of a light looking colour and dark colour. Somewhat similar to the e39 shadow chrome rims

my wheel torque was a bit low at 530 but yes. Should be around 400whp and 600tq

Its super easy to connect the harness is labelled to what it needs to connect onto the amp. I dont remember think there was an overall input voltage for the overall amp but there was individual gain per channel, that you can fine tune/mess around with how you like your audio to sound. Yes you can still code the car/tune it, does not impact that. the speakers with tweeters are on one channel, so you do not need to disconnect the tweeters, and it works fine.

@@zglgo do u actually have to disconnect the mid dash driver? if tweet is on same channel then we dont need 2way in front door. we can use upgraded components in front door for mid and tweets. jus find out what tweeters fit in the corner.and wire to go from mid to it.

​@@jackhere4594I had the hifi system so i did not have a center speaker. If you have a center speaker that would be the logic 7 and i believe that its a 7 channel system, you would need to do your own research on that.

@@zglgoin my 335i we have hifi or harmon kardon hifi. i have the regular hifi, pretty sure both are 7.mines jus a more flat response than the hk which is what u want.seems to much to solder wires to a new mid and then to tweeter which is how bmw did it , used a wire/output connector to go to the tweets from the mid(their way). i see now the marine version JL has no input voltage option.

Its very simple once you start testing and playing around with it. Of the two connectors one will be for the DRL and one for the highbeams. You can test the amazon headlight by plugging in these cables one at a time and seeing if it turns on when the bike is running(DRL)/when you turn on the highbeams. Once thats sorted you want to bridge the headbeam power connector/pin to the connector to the DRL (essentially open the connector and take out the pin and put it in the empty slot for the other connect).This will also the bike's headlight to be on when the bike is on and the highbeam to turn on when you press the button.

@@philempire9776 The brand is "BLIAUTO 7" 7 Inch Round LED" but they're all the same generic Chinese round headlight. All the amazon sellers will be selling the same stuff.

@@zglgo how did you end up taking the pin out of the connectors? i am unable to find any video on it and i treid doing it myself but afraid to break the plastic edit. and what did you do with the second ground wire? did you just wrap it up in electrical tape

I diddn't have a dyno run with the stock fuel pump, but the dyno with the r90 pump was 400whp

You will need to code the vehicle option to have the CD/DVD option into your car. You need to be able to see CD/DVD in your idrive menu. There should be a much of youtube videos or posts on the forums on how to code in vehicle options.

I just used the aftermarket mic that came it, the quality isnt the best. Not sure if theres a work around on using the factory mic/splitter option. I purchased it from a forum member but you can purchase directly from their website. www.mr12volt.com/

If i remember correctly I had a buddy hold down one of the bolts on the pulleys and was able to tighten it down this way

i'll double check on when switching from carplay to radio, cd etc... I don't think there was a noticeable difference between volumes. The microphone was just routed behind the glovebox up to the a pillar and from the headliner to the stock location. I moved the stock mic to the right side and put the mic in the oem location.

Hi Eduardo, I just checking switching between radio and cd(Mr12volt CCI box) and the volume were pretty much identical. No need to adjust anything after switching

yep it will run fine without any tune. Ran it for two weeks before getting it tuned. Will be uploading a video of the dyno in a few weeks.

What mods you have?
