Ducati scrambler clutch cable adjustment
Man it kinda looks like the punch bolt on his “one finger clutch throw” is hitting the cover limiting it!
That explains the blue puffs of smoke coming off of your bike on the last 20km. Oil drippung on the exhaust sytem 😮
Great content! The simple things
Heated grips seems to interfere, those are aftermarket or are you able to get Yamaha heated grips as standard/optional?
Yes, i do believe Yamaha OEM Heated grips, are an available option for his bike. Weather or not he chooses to switch is entirely up to him.
Usually the simplest answer lol
Haha so that's what's wrong with my lights it's a good starting point as my lights just went out actually they flickered and went out I have checked the starter switch seems fine but that plug literally fell out into my hand but also looks fine but I will have a closer look I can't get these lights to come on no matter what I do I will keep trying and keep you posted thanks for the video man much appreciated👍💯🇦🇺✌️
nice bike
Thanks man, I felt my Duc Scram slipping briefly in both 4th and 5th when throttling up. Thought maybe the pack rings were fried a bit in spots. After watching this noticed that my clutch cable had no play. Adjusted 'er out like you did. Runs perfect! Thanks again!
May I ask if you used any gasket sealant or just replaced the gasket itself? Id appreciate the help thanks great video!
I have a similar one and loves that one very much
Do you still have that scooter for sale?
Wtf
I got a problem where it feels like the clutch is dragging and it’s incredibly difficult to find neutral. Any idea what could it be?
Yes, it could be few things. To help you with an better answer, would you please tell me, what bike you have, what year the bike is, what the mileage is, and what the mileage on the clutch? Thank you
@@paul-tv4io 2020 scrambler 1100 special with 315 miles. It has hydraulic clutch.
Cool . Gave you a sub . Hope your channel grows . I will look and see if my clutch cable is doing that even though it is still all stock .
Great vid
Doesn't run?
Challange: How much garbage can you throw on your Tenere until it doesn't work anymore.
+1
@@SuperJim1986 +700 lol... If they took half the money they dump on junk and got there suspension setup for them and how they like to ride they would have a bike that they would never sell...
crap levers and crap clutch arm with cable angle not corrected but its surely the yamaha at fault 😂.
Some guys really are clueless. Wanted lighter clutch pull with a longer arm and then added shorter lever to undo his advantage, smart 😂
It may also be worth checking if the one light clutch is rubbing on the plastic guard when you actuate the lever. From the video it looks like it pushes against the plastic guard which defeats the purpose of the one light clutch mechanism as it’s adding back resistance. Just a thought to consider
What is hanging from the bottom of the swing arm?
Its built in tia land so what do you expect lol.
Wow this bike is dangerous, I think you were being kind about the condition, I would have lost it at the brakes section of the video. I hope more people watch this video to highlight what can happen when modifying a bike. Great video keep up the good work and I hope you can convince the owner to take off the crap parts and replace with quality safe parts.
I run ASV long clutch and shorty brake levers on my Super Tenere.
you are so, so good paul!! I enjoy following your work
that looks like a safety razor handle xD
what a great story!! hahaha
Men I hate the t7 P.o.s
Men? Man maybe?
Why?
not the sharpest tool in the shed that owner...
he is a tool tho....
Awesome shirt!!! ❤
Best video ever.
Curious!
Tires? Why those tires?
Hey Paul! Glen here. We knew each other years ago through Robert and Julia. I was a member of MotoMethod too. I sure miss that place and what it began as. Anyway, I came across some moto pics from like 2006/7/8 I think and your name popped into my head. Hope you're good bud.
Bahahahaahhaah That is almost creepy!!!!! But F*ing Hilarious
