    • @reelisticoutdoors4358
      @reelisticoutdoors4358 4 дні тому

      Everything temperature mentioned will be Celsius. I have had it out at -30 with wind chill of -50. It wasn’t hot in the tent but it was comfortable. I had just a hoodie on. I do like it. There is the one extra factor using the battery to keep in mind tho. If you have a spare or a way to keep it charged it’s great. If I go for 4-5 days I bring my small genny and run it for 3-4 hours in the day as I need to charge fish finders and camera batteries anyway so I top up my big battery.

      Thanks. We used to bury food in a Dutch oven then light a fire in the morning . When we got back to camp we would unearth the goodness . However history has taught us leaving fires unattended is bad. So o will either use briquettes or pull to long hot burning logs out of a fire and do it in a double container as we did with briquettes. I will be doing another this weekend weather permitting.

    I've made solid wood pucks, bisquettes and they work. Make sure the wood is very dry. I used a hole saw in a drill press. The internal diameter of the hole saw was very close to the 57 mm diameter of the original Bradley Bisquettes. 14 mm think. I cut rough timber into 14mm slabs then drill out the discs on the drill press. Can't you buy tube or pipe that's 57mm diameter instead of all this fabrication?
