I so nearly did the same thing, you're 993 RS would have fit right in. Bet there were some stunning cars on display at Pistonheads as well though 🙂

I attended both, but only got the tail end of Pistonheads event. I thought that was excellent, but the Megaphonics event was next level. This is a fabulous video but only captures a small selection really. The air cooled and water cooled car park areas were jam packed full of fabulous cars. It was almost too much to take in in one day.

@@shughes911 Hi, thanks for the comment. 63k miles on mine. The Carrera is more than enough for me, with 325 bhp the S didn't offer anything extra I felt I wanted 👍

How long have you had it? I like your options. Leather dash and sports seats. Mine was optioned with 19 carrera wheels, Sport chrono, multi power seat and Bose stereo.

@@shughes911 bought it in October 2023. I have Xenons, a leather interior and sports seats which are nice. Aesthetically I would have liked 19" wheels but the ride on 18" is smooth 🙂

@@DansFlatSix I actually prefer the 18s look more clean and classy..

No, I won't add a rear camera. Good luck if you do it for yours, you'll need to get creative 🙂

They don't ship them together. I didn't get any so dropped Porsche Leicester an email and they sent me some. Give your local OPC an email or call and they should get you a pair.

Both are amazing Porsches, a friend has a 981 Cayman S and it sounds lovely with PSE. My first experience with Porsche as a kid was a ride in a 964 Turbo ❤

Take a look at tipec.net/ I joined last year, they have regular meetings and a full calendar of events. It's a great community of Porsche owners and membership gets you discounts at a lot of places :)

So you had bore scoring and IMS failure! At the same time or two different engine rebuilds? 😢

@DansFlatSix ....Just bore scoring Cylinder/Liners 4 5 6.....But had the ims done when engine was stripped for rebuild...

How much did all of that set you back?

Contact your local Porsche Centre. I emailed mine and they sorted it all out and sent me the pack, got the Classic number plates a few weeks later.
