Four Wheeling For Gems goes rock hounding at Castle Butte California for Petrified Palm Root. We head off from California City for rock collecting after a short drive off road. Petrified Palm root found at this location in the Mojave Desert is mostly composed of jasper and agate in the form of root replacement.
