Whites oppose reparations to be given to Blacks, even though white power became rich on the fair labor they received from Blacks for four hundred years. No problem given reparations to others, when the crime america helped with, but the idea of giving payback to Black where they were kidnapped, rapped, tortured. murdered, sold off did free labored in the fields, raising their kids, as Black women breast feed those white babies, they cant let that happen.
I couldnt imagine thinkin i deserve to profit off the labor and misery of long dead people just because my skin is the same color as theirs was. Shameful.

Interesting thing about the Freedmans Bank, Frederick Douglas put $10k of his own money in it, so that Black people would feel comfortable with their money in that bank. The government used Douglas in that regard to fool our people, because the government literally used that money to allow the oil, steel and railroad industries to fund their endeavors, in building up the industrial Revolution. This betrayal broke Frederick Douglas heart, which is why he left this god forsaken country. We deserve reparations for this alone, if nothing else.

thats a horrible way to explain that point. i disagree though. reparations political traction problem is due to lack of law firm representation. our culture is convinced they’re going to sing, rap, author, or act our way to getting our oppressors to give us something they dont want to give. every other culture that received compensation for Federal wrongdoings had law firms representing them.
