The BEST pairing in platform diving EVER! Nobody can even come close!
Both of these young ladies are international treasures 😍🤩😍🤩
I felt so sorry for Quan Hong Chan
👍
Both are excellent and trully inspiring❤❤
I think the coach Shi Meiqin who spotted Chen is the first Chinese diver who won a world championship title.
Best diving duo EVER!!!
I like Chen Yuxi's. You are already amazing
Love both.
Both are outstanding, such a great team spirit. Able to compete vigorously and yet maintain a very cordial and friendly team spirit. Credit in particular to Chen Yuxi, such a cultured and magnanimous person, great attitude and family upbringing. I hope they both continue to participate in the next Olympics.
5 kids, where are those Western one child policies come from
in China, people from the poorer and rural place tend to give birth to more children, the law is not that strict in those region. Though her case is rare, in my 16-year living in China, i have never met anyone with five children in family
They are both sports superstars to me, none is above the other. Aside from diving, they both developed intelligence that I see when they are interviewed. They each have their own different cuteness and charm to all their fan's delight. Quan HongChan and Chen Yuxi will always have their names inscribed in diving history.
"To become the best version of myself!" What an amazing goal at such a young age. Pure respect!
Woooooooowww Quan 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮.. Tokyo 2020 was her first International event, and won gold medal 😭😭😭

They are national treasures.
Thank you for the English sub.. Indeed both of them showcase their own strength and ability.. Quan: I want to become the best version of my self....
They are incredible athletes, an inspiration to others. May they stay consistent and continue to pursue excellence in the coming years.
excellent report on two excellent divers. Well done
Thank you for video in English. I'm their international fan.
Chinese divers are next level.
George " Chief" Braithwaite around 4:15
It’s obvious. Never ending upcoming young players. They basically train always train four at one table.
I hope the Chinese government remembers this, all throughout successes, I hope they will always remember that this sport brings peace and unity very opposite with what CHINA and it's government doings.
seriously? not the rest of the countries those scare of the rising dragon and start cold war / trade war / embargo.
The title of your video is “Why China Dominates Table Tennis” but you only spent about a minute explaining it. The rest was about something else, which absolutely has nothing to do with the title of your video.
China only dominates in Land grabbing,Uyghur Human rights abuses and Copying Technologies of USA 🇺🇸.
those racist need to chance the rules so many time just to stop china.. why don't they do the same in basket ball to stop american from winning it!?
The video didn't really answer the question: why China has been so dominant in table tennis. The answer can be condensed to one world: resource.
Not just ressources but also the structure of the whole system behind this and the training processes
I think it does. Several stated points included: very high candidate count with extremely high standards and acceptance rate; Lots of resources on making sure athletes physical and mental health are top notch; lots of resources on analyzing strong opponents’s physical and mental abilities.
Also motivation. It's one of the few sports that does not rely on strength and height to win.

Cowan? Likely should be Cohen, a common Jewish name, the player on the American part in the famous Ping pong diplomacy.
Funny how China only does well in individual sports never team sports. In the communist system individual achievements are more common than group achievements.
Badminton and soon, tennis will be dominated by the Chinese.
Equipements are relatively cheap and space required is relatively small. Very affordable sport.
relatively small space required for playing as a recreational sport, but for professional table tennis, it requires a lot more space than you think. ITTF regulations require a playing space of at least 14 m (45.9 ft) long by 7 m (23.0 ft) wide, and a height clearance of at least 5 m (16.4 ft).[32] For wheelchair events, the minimums are 8 m (26.2 ft) long and 6 m (19.7 ft) wide.[32]. But when it comes to the even bigger tournaments, it's even bigger. If you take a look at any major table tennis tournament, the playing area is usually probably as big (if not bigger) than a tennis court. Crazy to think about. Also affordability is debatable. Cheap equipment is cheap, but for proper equipment it can get expensive. Yes not as expensive as some other sports, but more expensive than you think.
They didnt. Everyone have their period of brilliance. Nonsense myth.
China in ping pong is the most dominant country in a particular sport in the Olympic games
@@moonlightyegui6904 World championship is the pinnacle of the game not olympics. in case u are unaware.
World championships are twice as frequent as the Olympics. And still, the Chinese have the most WTTC and WTTTC titles
@@keekengho-jq1qeshut up
@@keekengho-jq1qeThat used to be the case in the 80's.Table tennis without the Olympics would have the same status as darts. Being an Olympic Champion has a lot more status ask Jorgen Persson who still gets ridiculously dejected when talking about his failure of getting a medal. All governments center their sports funding around Olympic cycles.
What do u mean?? They are dominating everything nowadays
@1:47, that man, Rong Guo Tuan, was not only the 1st TT champion from China. Rong was the founder of Chinese TT. Rong was born and developed his TT skills in Hong Kong. Hong Kong was then a colony of the brit thieves. Rong was a nationalist at heart and wanted to represent China in TT. Indeed, Rong won the ITTF World Singles Championship and developed a strong TT program for his country. Tragically, he was labeled as anti-revolution because he came from Hong Kong. Rong was subjected to non-stop bashing from Mao's red bandits. Rong finally succumbed to the bandits's torture and committed suicide inside his beloved country.

China is rife with corruption and forced behaviour. The CCP is far more concerned with appearances rather than the welfare of it's citizens. It is not a free country. It has no liberties. Chinas success in table tennis is a story of disappointment and manipulation of sport.
great vdeo
So underrated!!
Which part? The game or the chinese players?
