Ep 10 Rising Above Social Norms To Create The Life Your Family Needs
Episode 10 ✨
I'm so excited to share this new episode with my dear friend Charity. She's so easy to relate with and is really intentional in a very inspiring way. She not only is an incredible homeschool mom, she also serves her community as a doula. If you've ever wondered why one would need or want a doula in your birth experience, give this a listen.
In this podcast, we talked about:
⭐ How to reach out for help when your first line of help (family) isn't available.
⭐ How to intentionally raise your kids in a tight -knit family when that wasn't your norm.
⭐ The reality of the feeling "I thought I'd never be cheerful again" when you need a break. 🧙🏻♂️ (Name that movie).
⭐ How to think about "social norms" and how to think about them for your family.
⭐ How a doula can make the birth experience amazing by guiding your spouse through a new experience and make it a way of uniting a marriage.
⭐ How distance doesn't have to separate us from allomothers who are friends thanks to technology. We don't have to do this alone!
Charity is a doula in the Chesterfield County area in Virginia. If you want to learn more about her services, you can find her on Facebook under "Pure Love Doula."
Thanks for listening!
