We'd planned a cabin trip this weekend, but my brother got sick, so we stayed home. My wife suggested a nature outing, and I jumped at the chance to visit the Hanford Reach National Monument. I'd been out on the river there a few times by boat and loved it. The weather was perfect - sunny and surprisingly mild for January in Washington, aside from a bit of wind!
