I Flew SOLO VFR to Gstaad and Landed | Full Approach in 4K
In this video, I take you along as an EPST Student Pilot for a challenging approach and landing at Saanen Airport (LSGK) in beautiful Gstaad. This unique approach requires precision, as the runway only becomes visible late due to the mountains. The runway has a large displaced threshold, which should be taken into account. Additionally, staying at 5000 ft for longer results in a steeper descent, adding an extra layer of difficulty to the landing.
As a former student pilot at EPST, training with Aero Locarno in Switzerland, I had the privilege of flying through the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland and Italy. It's been a year since I completed my flight training, and I’m excited to share that I’ve started my first pilot job with Transavia. I’m currently wrapping up my Type Rating on the Boeing 737NG.
I hope you’ve been enjoying the videos so far I've shared since the start at EPST-there’s much more to come, so stay tuned! ✈️
Watch as I navigate through the swiss alps and end the video with this tricky landing. Perfect for aviation enthusiasts and anyone looking to learn more about challenging approaches!
✈️ Don’t forget to subscribe for more flying adventures, and feel free to leave your questions or thoughts in the comments below!

Being in the right hose is the worst. Especially at night! The prop wash is beating the hell out of you and you’re closer to the 130 because your probe is on the right side, and being in goggles doesn’t make it any more fun
This is the worst pushback i have ever seen, it's not even close to the pushbackline
You make wonderful videos! 👏 Just a small off-topic question: 😅 I have a set of words 🤷♂️. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). Not sure how to use them, would appreciate help. 🙏
Schiphol is Nederlands Net als ik
Its just a plane bro
B777
Dat TOP klinkt hardstikke Nederlands. Sie jij se klinkt hardstikke westen van het land.
it’s a c17 a c130 has props
Correct, thanks. Please check the title, which is correct, I was not able to change it in the video anymore unfortunately.
B737 klm
❤❤
Yoo thats a lucky job wow
到目前我还只有乘坐过一次波音747双层客机,罗马到北京那是十几年前,现在很少看见波音747飞机了,这是为什么?
The 747 is becoming more unsustainable compared to others and more sustainable aircraft are being built, like the Boeing 787 or Airbus A350. Unfortunately the B747 is being phased out, and with that, sadly, an end of an era! 😰
Cool
Underrated
If its boing im not going

This is a F/A18
Epic
will you want to fly it after witnessing how shitty experiencing a 9g is?
I don’t know, flying the aircraft would be amazing ofcourse. With my UPRT lessons we went into 5-6G which was quite hard for me personally already, witnessed the greyout effect at that moment. However I liked to have experienced it, just to know what it is 😄
@@PH-GUS 9G's is enough to make a pretty strong person to pass out, its like being 12k meters under water
Tell me you're american without telling me you're american "Number of accidents is equal between american company and the french one, BUT French is number one in accidents"
Tbh, I’m from Holland 😜. The order is random regarding number 1 and 2 (next to the facts), so no offence to France of course 🙏🏽.
@@PH-GUS love when "random" always help the same 😂
Please give more information and at least put in a clip of one of the planes you put in the list! Furthermore great content! Like & sub of me bro❤️
Are these numbers even relatively? Maybe they have more accidents because they have more planesss… This math aint mathing
Relatively could be a very interesting statistic indeed. Don’t know what outcome that would have.
😨
At least include one of the aircraft in the video, not a 747.
rough one
Really rough one
@@Slayer49900 Hornet havin the best landing gear there exists for a modern fighter jet, so.. Well, piece of cake for 0 live flight hours pilot now.
You could just list one plane and explain why it's so advanced, just saying their names doesn't give much info
Underated Man !
Bit slow to disembark dangerous if behind enemy lines
Thats My SUT hummer !
This is the first time i have sees a humvee do a butter landing😂😂
Great formation & helicopters. Thank you all.🎉😊❤
To be honest 777
So smooth
Gotta go with the A380
Hijackings?... δooo pεoplε still bεliε⩗ε thαt
i hate it that we have to be reactive instead of proactive!!
Wow!
What kinda planes are those?
‘The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat fighter-trainer craft capable of 898 km/h at sea level. With ten aircraft, nine in close formation and a soloist, they are the world's largest acrobatics patrol, and their flight schedule, comprising about twenty acrobatics and about half an hour, made them the most famous in the world.’ 😄
@@PH-GUS thanks, never heard of that plane
@@scatmanpro same here! 🤣
