did this with a 1.5 lug with a 96 stud pattern on an indy 600 121 track. Bigger the lug the less speed you have but can be compensated for by changing the top chain gear

Ofcourse its possible lol people been riding 121 short tracks forever. Yeah now that we are in 2020 ofcourse a longer track will do better but always remember where snowmobileing started. I use to bomb my 1993 indy storm 800 121 thru the powder.

my xlt with 1 inch lugs still gets through the powder no problem
