I bought an X-15 two years ago when I bought my GSX-R750. Great helmet. Weight is not a factor. Ear plugs are required at top speed. Ditto the Air GT.
DOT is ass. Thicker for no reason. Wish the US wouldn’t adopt FIM cert. don’t need a boulder on my head for no reason. Especially when at track.

What year is this bike?
The idea that someone with a wondering mind can avoid this tendency on two wheels isn’t accurate. Your mind will wonder even on two wheels, It’s just that you constantly have to refocus back to the task at hand. In a car you can multitask to a higher degree.
