Trivandrum had double decker buses running as CITY BUS by GOVT.DEPARTMENT EVEN IN 1950s.( before K.S.R.T.C.). BUT due to trees which are slanting over roads, it is dangerous to run such buses except in CITY ROADS which are wide enough. Most normal buses the luggage carriers would have damaged in rainy season.
