The joys of older cars

2002 996 (porsche 911) with a ghost in the machine. I suspect the solution will be beefing up the aging rubber gaskets that hold the horn assembly in the steering wheel.

Nancy Sinatra through a pair of paradigm 5se Mk3 floor-standing speakers

Speakers are available (as of 1Sep23). Sound was captured simply through a Samsung Galaxy S20. There's obviously no subsonic filter and the floor's a bit bouncy, hence the large excursion. Spikes are included but not installed for this demo.
Happy Baby Deer Can't slow down

A herd of Deer in the yard, with a young one that just can't slow down.
I wonder how much EXTRA glassware and dishes that cruise ships carry to replace all the broken pieces during a "TILTING"? 🤔🍽🥂🍸🍷
It's called a "list" on a ship.
it was not a squall or wind....it was the malfunction of the stabilisers......true story.
Were you there?
Cmon sis. It’s a cinch
I suspect user error on stabilizer angle. Blame it on the wind so they are not responsible. Stabilizer roll happens far too often and catches them off guard.
The stabilizers were not out at that point. I was there.
We (the people watching the internal TV) were able to notice the sudden change on the wind speed outside the vessel. You did not.
At least you got to finish the escargots.
These are the speakers that ruined me for life and got me hooked on decent audio equipment. I bought em new in the mid 90s...sold those..bought another pair much later for only $90....gave those away ...and now have a third pair I bought for $140 lol. I love these speakers, the 8" woofer puffing away woth such depth and the awesome underrated silkdome tweeter (that was replaced by an inferior aluminum dome in later generations).
Bro your tellys gonna get hot in the winter if you use that fireplace right? Ooof
Looks like you are getting some sort of subsonic nastiness there the way those woofers are pumping. Likely an arm/cartridge mismatch or a bad cantilever.
I'm not so sure about that.. I'd argue they're just playing the music that loudly! 😅
Pretty good, but I'd put my 1972 Empire 10s up against them.
i heard the sounds of skyrim when he pulled the lever to increase airflow.
May i live long enough to become a crusty blacksmith. I am seventy now and haven’t noticed a crust forming as of yet. In my smithy daily, so maybe crust tomorrow.
Crusty me granny very nice gentleman If he's crusty I'm 20 loaves of sliced pan
Title is a bit disrespectful, he's not even a crusty by Irish standards.
I would never allow people to come into my work space and film or otherwise. Not unless they paid me. Then they can call the video what ever. But only after I have their money. Anyone that’s in my work space also wouldn’t be allowed to blow a bunch of vape clouds that smell like sugary cereal. Then it would be get the hell out. No refunds. They want the game. They gonna pay 💰 me for it.
I am seriously thinking to become a metal smith which is I would work with all types of metals
Can you please tell us this man's name and location within Ireland? I want to visit too
After watching and listening to this expert blacksmith I feel that I can do some smiting, shoeing horses, I hope that I do not make any mistakes and put the shoes on the horses back to front,
Also that's a super sweet post vise!
Whatba n absolutely mad genius this old Smith is! I'd totally buy that guy beer just to ask questions and take notes.
3:05 he doesn't realize it but he's creating a thermal updraft by burning dry wood on top. Upward suction results basically
It's a hot burning fire, who gives a shit. Shove your little god complex comment up your small intestine.
He might not know the specific scientific key terms but he understands the real useful practical knowledge to make things
Wow, an actual 19th century smithy.
Good Lord, that Anvil is beautiful! WOW!
What a wonderful piece of history! That anvil is massive
Nice shop and a very nice HUGE anvil. That anvil is way larger than my 300 pound shop anvil and worth a fortune.
werry nice forge, like it a lot.
That's a great shop1 I would stay there an entire day looking at everything! And asking many and many questions to that Master Blacksmith! Thanks for the video!
Can you tell me where this forge is? Thank you
This was Ireland, I believe it was either Killarney or Blarney castle. It was 2 years ago though and many stops on the trip, so I'm not 100% sure about the exact location anymore.
@@koolaid6280 sounds a tad bit like Killarney
The smith has a Northern accent. Ulster American Folkpark in Omagh I would say.
@@michaelroche3915 ulster american. What an odd pairing. Why so?
the barefoot mechanic! idiot
This is one of the prettiest versions of this song that I've seen/ heard on UA-cam.
You two sound so smooth together. Frank I love your Claw-Hammer banjo! Gotta learn this song for my next jam.
.............:)
I think you guys are great. Hope to see you live some day
This is food. For me. Thank You.
Nice!
Love it!
