Thank you for the review... I see these are good for keeping the light out but what about heat? I was thinking of putting these in our small windows near our high ceiling during the hot summer months in Vegas.. Do you think they would work to keep heat out as well as light?

I would say this works similar to fissler can opener. By tactile feelings. But the fissler is out of stock now, so this is probably the best option among safe side can openers.
