This is an Instumental jam Tony came up with back in the 70's . I gave it a little spin of my own and had Jeff Gerona add some percussion. I had this stored away for some years and apparently something happened in the end. It just cuts off but oh well . Salt and Pepper .

You Make Me Feel Like Dancing - Benny B
I remember when the boys were here on Kaua’i, rented Billy Jean Kings place in Ha’ena and were taken by helicopter and the legendary pilot ‘Red Johnson’ into Gods Country … Hidden Valleys
“Oh, these crazy Hawaiians!” This song just came to mind and i had to find it to hear it again.
When I was a kid my Mom would sing this song all the time . When I hear it I see my Mom and I miss her so much .
@@brianbenitez3551 My father used to sing it also. He had been born in 1917 so he remembered it from when it had been popular in the 1930s.
Nani maoli.
That's my cousin❤
Love you Cousin Bobbie !!
Comes to mind a two word prayer: "Aloha Paradise" Grazia, Grazia and Grazia!!! Amo.

Natalie love 💕 you James Taylor
Who do you think was selling Andy Irons the drugs that he was addicted to ? Yah !!!! That’s who. 😉
The culture that they came from is called Tahiti it’s a real simple Google search type in where the goddess Pele came from and then you will understand that They came from Tahiti and she is the original invader of the islands and I will repeat myself they eradicated tried to eradicate all of the indigenous people that were on the island before they got here and then you have these guys who think they’re big and tough
What’s funny is when they leave home? They can’t handle. They brag about coming from a culture that arrived in Hawaiian Islands 400 years ago and eradicated the indigenous people that were living here or enslaved them and turn them into prostitutes and hard laborers and here they are proving to you that they’re bad ass people when they in fact are the original invaders of the islands
One language at a time people.. 😂😂😂
Hang on a minute 😂 zoom in on those vids within the first few seconds 😂
Hahahaha I'm to lazy to edit that part out but I don't care I ain't no angel . Thank you Max for pointing that out to everyone .
I miss those jams at the Angus, glad Chris is still playing in Kailua.
Yep, it was the mainland howlies of the fifties that started big wave surfing on the north shore…
I think it's spelled "Haoles"
Gotta love how no one was surfing here until whitey braved the elements and made it rideable then the locals claim it as their own. The guy on the inside gets the wave.
go away ignorant...
😮
A French guy is an interpreter for Da Hui!! Bwhahaha

Brings back a lot of memories. Black Angus in the 70s thanks for sharing.
My pleasure !! It was a good fun time in my life playing a gig with such a great guitar player like Tony.
We did this recording live 50 years ago . I miss Tony I haven't seen him for 49 years , God bless him and his Ohana .
Looking for that women girl . Who knows love can endure.
Gabby loved trains but obviously didn’t get to ride any on Oahu. When his record company guys took him to LA to record, he got to see and ride trains since they made sure he had time for that.
Saw them years ago at the Royal Hawaiian. My Mother and Sister had flown over from the mainland and this was my gift to them. We sat with the french doors open to the ocean, a soft Hawaiian night. When they began their show, everyone was spellbound, when they finished I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. It was one of the great memories my Mother held, loving Hawaii so; that evening they gave voice to that love. My Sister and I now hold it between us, an irreplaceable moment in time.
Listening to this jam pumps me up !! I miss jamming with all the Braddahs in Simplisity they were my good friends . I have nothing but good memories of days gone by . Thank you Lord for blessing with all my good family and friends .
This video only showed a little bit of the music that was played on that day . There were a lot more bands that shared their music with us . In fact some bands didn't get to play because we had to shut down as it got later on in the afternoon . I'm so sorry to the bands who showed up but didn't get to jam . The band that was featured in this video was called The Rhythm Klub ( Hemingway , Adney , and Ricky) . I'm just proud of how many people showed up to honor my Mom . I love you Mom !!
You’re a beautiful song played at the opening of our wedding video in Maui 1989❤

Was this filmed at the Old Prow Lounge at the Ala Moana Hotel?
Sorry I don't know .
The Prow Lounge was in the Sheraton Waikiki.... and this isn't it
I used to play keyboards with Varoa Tiki (Tiki and the Girls) in the 1960's. We used to play in Maui too and it just breaks my heart after the fires :-(

HIstory in song......
What an amazing group of Hawaii musicians, playing in the front yard there in Waimanalo: Pops Gabby, Cyril, Martin, Bla, Uncle Atta Isaacs, Peter Moon, Palani Vaughan. How wonderful this session is preserve for us all to treasure.
this sounds like 1960's music on Oahu
Was their Band called Loose Shoes?
Tony and Friends .
@@brianbenitez3551 I first saw Tony every night at the Wharf when I was a dishwasher. He is one of the greatest talented entertainers from Hawaii. I saw him at Manoa gardens and a saw him at the shell.
@@dng6121 I played a gig at the Black Angus with Tony for about a year . That was before the Wharf and Manoa . I had a good time jamming with him . It opened many doors in life .
@@brianbenitez3551 I followed Tony everywhere he played. I bought tickets to George Thorogood and the destroyers just to hear him play at the shell. He rocked better than George.People were shouting "Tony", "Tony" before George showed up.
@@brianbenitez3551 My mind is a little foggy. Your name sounds familiar. I used to see Chris at, I think was Chucks Steakhouse near the University Theater. He played the acoustic version of stairway to heaven. I miss local entertainers that played LIVE in most restaurants and bars throughout Honolulu. Even during lunch time. Brian I am glad you enjoyed jamming with Tony as much as I was a fan in the audience. Thanks for your upload, It brings back memories. I just subscribed.
