Amazing trail. We stumbled into this valley on our first ride in Moab. It starts out easy but boy it gets tricky in a hurry. We made it all the way out to the road on the other side. Took hours. Fun but once was enough. I would do the first section again, but not the 2nd half. Had to lift the bike over some obstacles. I did not want to risk injury- not worth it. Lifting it got old.
Hey Epic trail..would 650 be too big for this type of trail riding ? Skills Yes, but even with skill?
It’s a little more rocky now but a fun super fast trail, loved every second of it!
Now closed. Get organized. Object! cleantechnica.com/files/2023/09/Moab-Trail-Closures-Map.png
Loved it... new sub here
Did you ride from point to point, or ride up and back to your trucks? Nice coverage, I want to do this trail, this spring, so I'm trying to figure out logistics.
We rode up and back from the truck. If you haven't done this trail yet I highly recommend it, it's my favorite in the area. There are a lot of river crossings, so plan on getting wet if you go this spring during runoff.
Happiest place on earth!
Great video and music. Where did you stage off ?
We drove down 10 mile road to where it crosses the 10 mile wash trail and found a place to park. The trailhead is right there and the coordinates are lat/long 38.74684, -109.96651. Thanks for watching!
Wish I would have rode it last winter. The closure is heartbreaking.
Awesome trail. 👍
Is the first segment south of Warner, like maybe into the AZ strip? I noticed it's a marked trail, at least at the one intersection, but couldn't make out the writing on the Carsonite sign. Is that the one I've seen called the Cactus Loop? Looks like a nice cruise tor kind of a rest day. Thanks for posting the vid, when I saw 45 minutes I thought uh-oh, but it was good!
Thanks for watching the video! If you go east of cactus loop there is a main trail/road called temple trail north. We were east of that between the road and the cliffs. There are some hiking trails out there and that is what the sign was for.
What trail is that?
We spent time on a few different trails that day, but the majority of the ride was the Ridge Trail #157.
Is there any way you could explain to me how to get to the area you ride about the 28:00 and beyond? The slick rock
The way we usually get there is starting at the staging area at 37.11160, -113.44005. There are numerous trails from there that head east toward Sand Hollow. Take the Warner Rim/West Rim trail that follows the cliffs overlooking warner valley. Follow that until you find red rock to drop in to between the road and cliffs.
I like this video
Love it up there on the rock 👍
Awesome video, I ride Warner Valley quite often. How were you able to use real music without copyright issues?
Hi, Basically it was ignorance:). Apparently some songs are allowed and some aren't and I had just been lucky. Then I had a couple videos get flagged for copyright violations so I did some research and now I just don't add music.
I've ridden a lot at Warner Valley and this area doesn't look familiar. Do you mind sharing directions? Thx!
Hi, I mapped this ride with OnX offroad, but youtube wont let me upload a picture. We started out going south on the Cactus loop trail where it is combined with the Fort Pierce loop. From there we basically did the Cactus loop just bigger. Overall it was a 39 mile ride. I'm happy to send you a picture of the map if you let me know how you would like it sent.
