@@Mescherje Sometimes when the match is loopsided (e.g. We got AFK), we just let the opponents run through. No need to offer resistance and delay the inevitable. All PVP events are susceptible to the randomness of MM.

@@WynTheNecroLancer Well, this is especially susceptible. In BG you don't see people with 100 paragon lvl. And in gold/legend it usually match with people who at least know what are the rules and mechanics. In AoB you meet total noobs. The teams are only 4 players, which makes them very vulnerable for incopentence. And most players (even the experienced ones) have no clue about mechanics. They just go with their usual pvp builds...

I don't use skeletons. For me important skill for a second life.

@ Players who prefer tanky builds with Borrowed Time and defensive setups. I prefer more DPS thus the Skeletons and more offensive gems/reforges. Anything works as long as you enjoy the build! Cheers =)

Totally! And they can dish out much higher damage despite having lower secondary stats.

What more to say they have higher dmg reduction (melee) and long range. Temp just need to vortex and throw banana from far

@@jongderic Possible but we need to bring Dark Curse, most likely replacing Skeletons. Give it a try and let me know how you feel. It is very strong against Barbs and other Golems for sure.

@jongderic true. In human form, we're too squishy and rushing into combat often meant instant death.

@@WynTheNecroLancer i dont think so, golem tranform explosive dmg is not high, u need fall back to re tranform, so for whale, is not a good killing machine, but for mid reso is good to tank n survive.

​@@WynTheNecroLancer I think not at all. I like invisible spirit more, and I like skill that give you one more life. If spirit wasn't be nerf for 2.5 sec. minus, I wouldn't take a golem. I'm playing with necro 3 year's, and still think that he is still not good.

Nice variant. Yah Golem primary attack has low range and less damage. I'm using 4/4 Golem affix too.

Emperor of worms necro is doing just fine in PVP :)

@@lars3399 Agree that Necro ain't doing well in the current meta and Barbs certainly can tank better and dish out more dmg. They're a melee class and enjoy extra 30% dmg reduction compared to Necros.

@@alejandrorojas4417 Golem, Fear and Emperor of Worms builds are all support builds. Spin2Win can dmg but it's power is sadly limited by Wraithform downtime post nerf. Sigh

30% accurate when go in bg become 10%, skill evasion is still 20% plus gear if 4/4 one enemies give u 4.8% so it is still useful as support stat, only is not un-vulnerable cause 2% hp recover is only so minor

@ Yes I noticed it too! That is a nice addition although it doesn't add to our DPS. But very useful when we're chasing down retreating enemies!

@@twentyninthsixtysix4972 It will be interesting when Necros start becoming "Transformers". Giving us the Shadow Monarch ability will be cool too. We can shout "ARISE!" and resurrect dead enemies to fight for us, even in BG!

@@CaelumRagnarok Overall, despite the reforges, I feel Golem and Summons still lack dmg in BG. There were many occasions where I couldn't kill an enemy in time despite having them under Fear effect. TLDR: The reforges were useful, but not enough to make Summons OP.

@@Phyto. Yes PVP is like the only "end game" content. It is disappointing that it degenerated to this state.

@@alejandrorojas4417 I only just got the new Mage ess last week and the new shoulder ess earlier this week, so abit late in testing this build. RNG has been trolling me.

Slayer paragon could be fun but ever since the Wraithform nerf, our vulnerability window is extremely long (~5secs Wraith downtime) so I personally prefer Brawler for extra defense.

Yes I know Linq and he recently swapped to Necro (Fear and Immobilize build). So it was fun dueling with him in this match!

85%matches when you see summon build necro in your team are gg already game haha….(my exp only,not saying summon build is no use at all)

@@pipi-diablo Necro is in an awkward position nowadays. As DPS, we're not as strong as Tempest, Barbs or DH. As Tank, we cannot outlast Melee tanks like Barbs and Saders. IMHO, untargettable summons are usable in BG but most of our builds, including mine, are not optimised for it yet. Teammates may not know how to coordinate with Necro Summoners too as this is new to them. Currently, the more generic yet effective Necro builds are Spin2Win (Diver Backliner Control) and Waller (Block choke points).

Yes not all players are objective focused. Some just KDA, some are there to "clock 3 dailies".
