Thank you! The luggage lockers are located in Montreux station. We stopped there first and took the train back to Veytaux. Depending how much time you have, you can also take a nice long walk down the lake shore from Montreux to Chillon.

The music was quite nice, I thought. History is much more interesting when you put yourself in the place of the people who have come before us. Monte Saint Michel in Normandy would be another fascinating place to explore. You could do a whole series there!! 🇫🇷

@@JTSWebSeries Thank goodness. I thought I was going nuts. I told my husband that maybe you had taken it down. We are staying in Lucerne for 2 days, Wengen for 9 days ( we will see as much as we can while we are there) Right now we plan to do as many day trips as we can from our condo that we rented. We are both in our 70's. We like to hike, but are a bit concerned about the altitude. We will do what we can, after Wengen we will go to Zermatt for 3 days. Now, after seeing your video of the castle, I might go to Montreux for the day while we are on our way back to Zurich. I noticed you decided to do the Glacier Paradise instead of going up to Riffelsee and Gornergrat? What made you decide to that hike instead? We are planning on doing Gornergrat and hiking to Lake Riffelsee. It all looks amazing. Happy Belated Birthday. Again, loved your videos. Thanks for your response. Thanks! It honestly didn’t faze me it was my birthday at the time. Upon hearing myself saying it, then something clicked in my brain LOL. It’s, for sure, one birthday I’ll always remember where I was and what I did. The cave was actually one big loop (with some areas roped off) so the people aren’t at much risk of getting lost somewhere in the mountain. The temp difference from the caves and standing in the summit was pleasant and surprising. Italy is definitely in the list to visit sometime in the future. 😄

I agree with you on the views. I keep reiterating that it's not a fake background even though in the video it looks like it. The panoramas were picture perfect. I was surprised as well having two-way traffic on the bridge; I can see the movement of it increasing on busier hike days. This particular bridge is prone to being unstable (especially in the middle) during windy days. They close this part of the trail is the weather is unfavorable - windy more than likely. The uphill was definitely tiring but not entirely terrible. The key is to have plenty of fluids and take your time - resting as needed. Hope you can make it there sometime and experience all the views in person! ☺️

Yes, definitely a place I’d visit again if I get the opportunity. Though, the weather didn’t cooperate the first 5 days of the trip (see Episodes 3 to 6). The sun didn’t come out until the 6th day - which worked out great since I was heading to the mountains! 😃

It’s truly a gorgeous place. I bet all the alpine villages look incredible in the winter.

The mountain regions might have some snow in the ground, unless it was a warm winter, and definitely chillier temperatures. Some of the outdoor attractions are weather-permitting. Be sure to check the Jungfrau page as they update closures, times etc. Even on colder days, this region is equally beautiful and you might find some cold day activities in the area.

@@nl7002 for sure! Really loved riding the trains everywhere. Didn’t have enough time to do the Glacier Express or the historic goldenbahn. I did ride the train from Montreux to Gruyeres and it was so beautiful. You’ll see it in the coming episodes. 😉

Initially, yes. The first 5 days it rained but the remainder of the trip was great. Once we get to Lauterbrunnen the weather changes dramatically! ☀️ I need to go back and revisit Luzern and Stoos on a sunny day. 😅
