Pitiful video and horrible format! A waste of time!

I read Seversky's "Airpower: Key to Survival" (1950) in 1972 and saw a reference to this book. I saw bits and pieces of this animated segment of the 1943 Disney production of "Victory Through Air Power" on television, but it took until 2005 before I got to see the entire movie. I have copies of Seversky's three books, "Victory Through Air Power," "Airpower: Key to Survival," and "America: Too Young to Die." Movie or books? Air power history is long and varied. A treat in the "Victory Through Air Power" is a film clip of Billy Mitchell. Much like Disney, Alex Seversky had a series of flops. While Seversky was in France selling his Seversky aircraft, the board of directors fired the owner. This gave Seversky time to do what he did best--invent new stuff and write books. "Motor Mania" was a post-war movie that was repackaged as a US Army driver's training film.

You guys need to study World War II in the Pacific. Watch the “Unauthorized History of the Pacific War” podcast and learn about the Japanese military conduct.

This movie was reportedly seen by Churchill and Roosevelt. It likely had a significant affect on Allied strategy in that conflict.

After watching this movie I realize it's on the same levels of craziness like the original story.

The main reason in the first film why Tinker Fairies don't go to the mainland, according to Queen Clarion, is because the other fairies; Water, Garden, Animal, Light, Etc. serve a purpose for changing the seasons, while Tinkers really don't. Their job is to....well...tinker with things and help the other fairies with their preparations for the seasons.

Perri is available on DVD in the True Life series. It was Roy Disney's 1st film. Roy talked about going into Walt's office making his case to make a movie. Walt didn't have a lot of faith in Roy, but he decided, against his better judgment, to give it to Roy. I was like your Uncle Dan, in that I also set the VHS timer to record "Vault Disney." "Perri" was hosted by Mousketeers Darlene Gillespi in one show and Annette Funicello in another. As a Disney record collector, I have 5-6 "Perri" records. We had a pine squirrel, we named Sparky, that moved in, and lived with us for 9 years. Sparky was hysterically funny. He would chase our girls around the house like a vicious monster. Then, when the game was over, he would climb up and curl up in their pocket.

Lesley Ann Warren was also in a wonderful film with Julie Andrews Called Victor/Victoria and was nominated for an oscar, my favorite role of her is in a wonderful independent movie called "Choose Me"

I love Perri so much it’s one of my most favorite Disney films ever I remember my aunt had it on VHS just a recording a long long time ago then I searched on the internet to find the film on DVD at least all I can find is the Walt Disney Legacy Collection Volume 4 which comes with Secrets Of Life and Perri plus disc two with all the special features all about those films and I’m super happy to have that DVD set

Great episode! I just rewatched this one in preparation for the new movie and I loved it even more as an adult! Such a delightful movie!
