Odessa barbs are beautiful!!! I wouldn't worry about them nipping other fish, as long as you have enough of them in the tank together they will just stay with other Odessas.

Beautiful Alien betta. Not the best choice for a community tank. These guys are quite aggressive and very fast swimmers. They will definitely give other fish a hard time. Meaning you will have losses.

Likely a female was going to molt and at the same time released mating pheromones, so a bunch of males were essentially trying to reproduce with her lol. Unfortunately the fry/larvae need to go to saltwater. People might mistake ghost shrimp for amanos and think they can reproduce in freshwater but they got the wrong species.
