OK lol. Religion hurt me more than anything else, particularly Christianity. There is nothing that the religion can say that has ever helped me. Jesus, the “almighty” god, NEVER EVER reached out to me or DID ANYTHING in my life that ever helped me. I waited for him, I reached out to him. In my darkest moments, in my most doubtful and sorrowful moment, in my room on the floor crying out to god, weeping on the floor, begging god to give me… literally anything. A hint, a clue, a feeling, a voice. What came back? NOTHING. And since then I lost my entire faith and after that started getting into drugs. Now I’m a recovering substance abuser and I don’t have much hope in my life. Living day to day. Looking for meaning, looking for truth. But not looking for the answers anymore. I know I won’t find them. Christianity, and my expectation that it was true, ruined that for me. Christianity, and my foolish belief in it (because of my parents indoctrination)- it ruined my life. Completely. Ruined. Thank you Jesus! You helped me so much! Piece of shit religion. What a fucking joke.
