Yeah it has been happening a lot. The whole "un-dead" thing I call it lol. I made three different montages of shorts that went out that same day showing other weird glitches like that. This game is definitely full of surprises lol.

Yeah isn't it crazy the difference between the 2 players games? That explains why sometimes you die before you see them pointing their gun at you or before they come around a corner.

Right? They have to get better at implementing anti-cheating and patching or preventing exploits. I hear cheating is absolutely brutal in multiplayer sniper Elite 5. I don't ever play multiplayer quite frankly I'm too old for the super quick reaction times needed in that arena lol.

Absolutely ok, also I've probably seen the whole undead thing about 20 to 25 times in the past year that I've been recording. I actually have some shorts that are going to be released in a week or so that are a montage of all of them. I make these videos for fun and to help out fellow players to learn tips and tricks and stuff. I'm not in it for the money. Thank you so much for watching. Glad you enjoy them.

Also, the other reason why you may see more respawns after kills on my channel is because I post 99.999% of my matches. Wins AND losses. Many other channels only post their wins and might throw one or two losses in there. Personally, I like to give credit to the rare times folks actually kill me. I feel it's good sportsmanship and they deserve the recognition.

Well, the red diamond has multiple meanings. A single red diamond means you are going to HIT the player. Doesn't mean you are gonna kill them. A double red diamond means a penetrative shot will hit the player (like going thru wood or leaves first) but still not a guarantee they will be killed. The fact that you get the "kill cam" sometimes and they don't die, IDK really. I think it is a bug/lag/de-sync vs cheating but it is happening MORE and MORE now. So maybe there are more cheats out there now? IDK. Here is a wild example of 3 times they got back up after I killed them: ua-cam.com/video/TL698afzDf8/v-deo.html I kinda think it is some kind of strange lag/de-sync thing. @12cm32 honestly I think it doesn't have anything to do with platform and it has more to do with whoever is hosting the game, their internet connection and their CPU speed. Since sniper Elite 5 is peer to peer connections versus some of the larger multiplayer games where you connect to a server. I'm not sure I have any evidence to support that but I am in the technology field (software development) And that theory just does seem to make sense.

Yeah if you stay in the same place for more than 2.5 mins you are given a warning. Then after 30 more seconds your location will be given away to the other player. If you still stay in the same place for another 30 seconds you will be tagged and the other player can see your tag. Then after another 30 seconds of not moving you are remove from the game. It's kind of necessary because a lot of players do camp (just like the guy I was hunting was doing in this video - if I hadn't killed him in the time I did he probably would have been removed from the game very soon). Which is kind of a catch 22 because then you as the hunter have to camp hoping that they will move lol.

@@LadyGrace True, and in single player campaign mode you can sit forever without any penalty. But when you have an invader/human in the game with you, then the timer comes into play. It's basically because some players will literally just hide in a room behind dozens of mines and traps and farm for kills. They can literally leave their console/pc and do other stuff and wait to hear the "Victory" music playing, then go in and restart their game from the last save. Rinse and repeat. That takes the fun out of the game. So the game devs implemented the camping timer to keep the sportsmanship in the game. Now, don't get me wrong, there still are players that "Camp" and make "murder maps" all the time. Most of the time people quit immediately (sometimes I bite just to troll them - watch this one lol: ua-cam.com/video/TXRSN2Aloi4/v-deo.html ). Do you play SE5? If not, it is an awesome game IMO. We can do a co-op and I can show you the ropes sometime.

@@jcheil67 i dont really have any interest in a game that implements stupid mechanics that defeat the WHOLE POINT of the game xD like i understand the reasoning as to why they might implement something like that but your a sniper the whole point is to sit there wait until you have an opportune time to eliminate your target your not just gunna be like oh 2 minutes are up lets move elsewhere...no your gunna sit there in the best position possible and just wait. like the game itself seems interesting but if im playing and i get invaded and then i get punished for playing like a sniper then there is a fundamental issue with the game because if a sniper knows theres another sniper around they arent just going to move around etc they are going to be cautious about it even if the sniper knows where they are its safer for them to not move than to move and potentially get shot because again you as a sniper arent just going to choose some rando spot for whatevr your original purpose was before another sniper appeared so odds are your in a very good position meaning u have no reason to move

The angle I was at caused the bullet to go thru the first person and then hit the ground behind him. If I were on level ground, it would have went thru both! I did get a 2 for 1 co-op snipe kill once before; short will be uploaded soon.

Thanks for recognition. That's literally why I record these games and post them. I want to make people better players so that I have a harder challenge in the future lol. And that one angle to the church in rubble in ruin you cannot see my scope glint from that angle either.

Thanks for the thoughts! Yeah me too feeling some of the after effects (tired, aches, etc). But I am 99% better now. Felt like the flu for about a week or so. 2nd time I had it. First time I never even knew I did until I got tested.

Yeah, so I have played this guy before and the same kind behavior always happened. This time, he accepted my friend request and today we played Spy Academy and again, he just managed to get all the way up to the top of the church in like 4 mins with only a couple AI kills and none turned yellow or red and I had nearly all of them tagged. Is that possible...yes, but probable, not really. Unless they are an absolute expert at that map. And it's not a stealth map either. Then we played the map again from the start and within a min or so he alerted an AI mid map up by the lower church tower but there wasn't a single AI anywhere in the map anywhere in the lower part of town! No dead bodies, nothing. None on the beach or the east end of town either. Not a single one ANYWHERE. I have NEVER seen that before. Absolutely wild. Those spawn the moment someone enters the game from one of the 3 normal starting points. And Spy Academy is MY MAP. I know every corner of that shit like the back of my hand. I know when the AI spawns when Karl is near and exactly where, etc. I mentioned this to them in a steam chat and I agreed to apologize if I am wrong but out of the 1900 hours I have in this game (and 200+ videos) I have NEVER seen someone play THAT GOOD. Maybe he is really Jesus lol. We agreed to play again and he will record his game in that future game. Again, if I am wrong, I will certainly man up and admit it. It's just when you have played as much as I, you notice things that are just not normal. And I bet many of you that are as experienced as me find that to be sus also. Again, we'll see what happens in the recorded game we will play this coming week. I have all the recordings from today, I may post at some point anyways because neither of us killed each other.
