Wheeling N. GA: Could Rain Stop These Toyotas?
Переглядів 5322 роки тому
What happens when a bunch of Toyotas hit one of Georgia's hardest trails in unexpected rain? Watch to find out! Please do not ask for the name of this trail. This is one of the last good spots in Georgia, so let's keep it that way. I do not participate in geotagging. I have exclusive permission to use the song by Big Baby Scumbag

Give this land back to NATIVE AMERICAN OWNERS.
Why? What makes u think they want it? This is hard country not much growing crops on it
Is this a different hole in the rock than the road in Escalante?
Yes, this one is on the other side of Lake Powell, on the Hall's Crossing side. We just did this trail this past weekend. I just uploaded a video of our adventure on my channel.
What tire min size, min clearance would you say for this trail? Lockers?
Going on this trail without AT LEAST a rear locker would an awful decision imo. Dual locked preferred. I ran the trail on 34s but I feel like 35+ is smarter. Maybe you could do 33s but I wouldn’t recommend
@@griffin4runner320 fantastic information. could i suggest this info goes in the video description? probably one of the most common thoughts people have is "i wonder if i could do that?'
We just got back from there. We took our stock Polaris XP4 100 RZR. Scaped in quite a few spots, but managed just fine. My brother in law took his stock 1995 Jeep with a lift and bigger tires. He got stuck, we had to winch him up on one of the steep rocks. He did great on all the others though.
Great ! Brasil, south América, rio de janeiro, beatiful city.
Very nice video, pumped to do this trail soon.
Looking to doing this in the future. Looks like a lot of tough obstacles. Do either of you have locking differentials?
3rd gens are increadibly capable
Ah yes. A fellow cultured 4runner owner. Subbed
What tires were you running?
This looks like an amazing adventure!!
Great video! Definitely one of one of my favorite trails I’ve ever been on!
very nice wheeling chief
outstanding💯🚙🇺🇲🇺🇲
you a real one, fr! Thanks for the support
What are the trails?
Nice video. What size tire is on red 4runner?
9:35 must have been pretty puckering! Sweet trail. Subscribed! Any plans to come back to trails in the southeast?
That was amazing, & scary! Great job on the editing; the video & music, awesome! I'm glad to see Tim & wei; with the rest of the crew. I hope to see more videos! Thank you!
Hello, mind telling us if you've got front and rear lockers on your rig? Also what gears are you on sir?
Hey there! I run front & rear ARB air lockers on my rig. I have these paired with 4.56 yukon & G2 gears to match my 34" tires (285/75/17). Be on the lookout for my rig walk-around video I'll post at some point & be sure to subscribe. For Poison Spider (and in general), I really didn't use my front locker all that much, as that is a leading cause of failure for IFS. You'll see that whenever I get around to posting our video from the rubicon
@@griffin4runner320 thanks for replying! I'm looking at an elocker for my rear but I'm on 33s (285/75/16) and 4.10s so I'm not sure if I should regear for it
@@franky6181 based on your profile photo, it looks like you have a YJ? Is that the case, or do you have a 3rd gen? Either way, I say go air locker over e-locker, all day! E-lockers are finicky. Air lockers tend to be reliable, and if you have a problem bc of a leak, it's pretty easy to find.
Have a expedition built ‘97 ,..rear swing out tire carrier bumper is the last piece of my puzzle, as an ex jeeper I was used to $400 smutty built swing out carriers , have found 4Runner swing outs to be at least triple that ,..so last mod lol. Living 90 minutes from Moab I love watching videos of people hitting my playground , love this place and as a single dad of 3 awesome girls , it’s become a favorite memory place among my girls💜.
Hey, that’s great to hear man! If it helps, Coastal Offroad has a great swing out rear bumper & my discount code with them is Griffin4Runner. Smittybilt definitely makes some awesome stuff though (love my 12k winch) and Matt takes great care of his peeps over at SB! Thanks for watching, friend!
@@griffin4runner320 thanks so much! Yeah I’ve got an ARB bull bar (Tacoma bullbar with the extra structural support) and a Warn 9,500 # but yeah really wanting a tire carrier so I can pull it off the safari rack up top but now I need new tires soooo… $$$$$ I screenshot your reply for the futur tho, I’ll check ‘em out. Great video!
beautiful trail and cinematography ❤️
Thank you! It means a lot to hear that. Glad you enjoyed
Damn, seems like it was so long ago. Sure miss it!
Great video Griffin! It was a fun day.
Is that a demon slayer kit straight outtake Japanese?
Hello, fellow weeb! I'm going to guess you didn't mean to type "outtake". The box set is the english manga, which can be found at your local Barnes & Noble
Great job with the editing, man! You told the story well. And thanks for the IG plug!
Great Video love watching the 3rd gens
Thanks for the support, friend! Glad you enjoyed
This video really shows how much the 3G4R running a roof rack and a 130+lb tent flexes/moves around with the dynamic load being too heavy. Nothing against your setup but that movement totally helped me decide to go without a huge RTT on these rigs and opt for either a swag tent or GFC superlite at the heaviest.
If you’re referring to the one wire shifting around, that was simply because I hadn’t tied it down- not because of the tent. I ended up zip tying later that day
Can’t wait to see the trip dude
Love the camera work.
Thank you! This was all shot on a series of iPhones, a GoPro Hero 8+, a Canon Rebel t3i, and a Panasonic DVX.
RIvians seem dope! How did it perform out there?
Unfortunately, I only saw it out on the trail twice that weekend, in passing. It clearly didn't have any issues with it going through deep water. Thanks for the support!
Bruh you’re going through the tunnel at light speed
Thats a cool tunnel. I need to do some offroading out here. Where I'm at it's all rock and dry desert.
I would argue that kind of terrain is much more fun!
What trail is this?
Did you not read the description?
Oh! Yessir. My bad. I apologize for my curiosity
Flatlands. And doing it in the rain is asking for trouble
Sick digz bro
Red on Kendas?
During this video, I was in 285/70/17 nitto ridge grapplers. At the time of making this comment, I am on 285/75/17 BFG KM3s
You guys should do a ride with the guys from gear craft.
