I first heard this song as an instrumental by a Colombian band while listening with my Cuban first wife during CHOM-Montreal's "Spanish Hour". It would be another 45 years before I heard this version, only to learn that it was Gilbert O'Sullivan, whose peak success coincided with ours, who had written and recorded the sung original. Whatever else happened before Nothing Rhymed, every measure of this song is still an elegy to me.

This is very special. Norwegian biggest aircraft accident happened dec.23.1972. O`Sullivan released his cd around that time.
