Another great round of the North Wales cyclocross league saw us travel the hour long journey from Rhyl to Pentraeth on Anglesey. Well today was one of those days, we came, fought as hard as we could and went home 😂 Alyn waters was remarkably dry compared with last year but the course was really hard going. In Race two Stan finished 30th overall and 3rd in the U14s. Tommy crashed on the 1st lap losing lots of time in the woods, he fought back to finish 18th overall and 3rd U16. So Tommy and Stanley did a thing, they raced BMX for the first time and kinda enjoyed it. Both lads didnt do to badly either finishing in there age categories in 6th place. Described as the hardest course in the North Wales league calendar this round didn’t disappoint! Waking up prior to the event we encountered the first named storm of the season named Storm Ashley. Cyclocross is back in our household, the boys excited to get back on the CX bikes as they all move up an age category this year. First race went well, Stanley finished 4th in the u14s, Tommy came 1st in the u16s and Alfie finished 3rd in the u18s. In this video we returned to Belgium to race our bikes in one of the many kermis races. It was great fun and we really hope you enjoy the highlights. Round 7 of the dolan league was eventful. All the boys tried there best, even leading the peloton for many laps but sadly falling short at the end. Stanley rode well staying in the main pack the whole race even leading it for several laps. Coming 14th overall after the bunch sprint. Great days racing had by all. Stanley stayed with the peloton all the way to the end having a fierce battle on the last lap to finish 11th overall.❤️ Tommy yet again dominated the field but after 40 mins with little help from the rest of the group Tommy couldnt compete in the final bunch sprint.
