hello all a small video of me just wasting time and what better way to do it than going for a drive with a car that is 86 years old. no particular place to go hope you all enjoy this small video this was filmed june time date not known
I wonder if the Chummy at 3.53 is MO 6320 , the famous car that travelled from South America to New York in 1959-60 by John Coleman ?.
hi roger not sure but i shall have a look and see if i can find anything
@@aaronwright1749 Hi Aaron , I think it just might be ,it was a pioneeering huge journey back then for an early Austin Seven and he wrote a book called ' Coleman's Drive ' published in 1962.If it is not the car, it may be in the Beaulieu collection.Great video by the way !
@@Roger.Coleman1949 thank you Roger glad you enjoyed the video got a second part coming when I have spare time to finish it
👍
Beaut of a car! Great day out 👍
Thank you for your kind words glad you enjoyed planning on a few trips with the car next year
Fantastic close up action, love the collection of old mineral trucks 👍
Thank you for your kind words it was a very interesting place to visit i'm planning on going again next year
I didn’t know this place existed. Hope to get there to look around soon. Thanks for the great upload 👍
@@Shelfandtabletoplayouts00gauge thanks so much and you are most welcome
Where's the Austin?
@@paulhow4515 hi Paul the Austin was parked up at Bridgnorth station on display
Wonderfull
Thank you
De machinist is er nog niet zo bedreven in!
He's got the jib cable too tight thats why the bucket is bouncing my grandad use to drive these back in the day
She is lovely, a real credit to you. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much my grandad helps also a Labour of love
what's the top speed I have an Austin a40 devon it does about 55mph great vid cheers
Thank you so much top speed i have done is 50 mph but thats on a down hill. On level road 40 to 45mph but 50 is possible on level roads it just takes a fair amount of distance to do so glad you enjoyed the video and very nice car the Austin a40 devon
We could be back in the 1930s on those empty unlit sections. Very atmospheric. I've been to the SVR many times, usually when chasing after Deltics, but all the old locos are of interest. Thanks for making this video.
Your most welcome and thanks for the feedback as it was something I always wanted to do when I first bought the car but only got round to it a year later on also love the Deltics as well been on a rail tour behind 55022 Royal Scots Grey
That's good advice for beginners. Much is said elsewhere about poor reliability, yet most issues are avoided if we carry out the full maintenance regime, plus some extra preventative care. Also using the car regularly.
thank you so much and i just try to tell it in a way that people know as you get too many Armchair enthusiast's that know nothing.
I'm amazed you don't get more views. It's hard to find pre-war rides, and I'm enjoying your series. Many thanks :)
Thank you so much and I appreciate it so much just do it for fun but I suppose prewar car's are not so popular as say fords classic. But I do my best to entertain if you like this video check out the nighttime drive it's also quite different. Kind regards Aaron
How dare that car take Santa's right of way. Excellent video. Happy new year to you, your Grandad and of course Wallace.
Thank you Paul
