What did you clean it with?
I just attempted this route yesterday in what seemed like 70mph winds in August/Summer, thick fog and driving rainy. I think you had the less hazardous route but I wouldn't wanna combine the 2 conditions! Those winds were knocking me off my feet, I had to turn back!
Hi, can I ask what the issue was camping at Philip Park? Looking to do it as a solo female so as much info for planning would be great thanks
It's just to make money. Zoos are evil period
Really enjoyed this! Looking forward to going myself!
Looks beautiful I’m deciding what trail to walk in Scotland for 2024 what time of year did you do this can I ask you please ?
Nice video, i am going in a few weeks. How is phone signal? Did you lose in any point?
💐 promo sm
Great start! 😊
Wow 🎉
Thanks James
Keep up the work brother, there's no doubt in my mind youll get there one day 👍
Appreciate that
Keep it up bro you're gonna look like beast 💪
That's the plan my man 😉
Stay strong
25mins for 10km thats quite good actually i would be so out of breath after that. Keep up the good work !
Thanks 👍
And you are covering half the water with your words you’re saying literally stop it😊
Hey that's deep water I don't think people care too much
. How second not a lot of people will care cause it’s just water mate OK these are facts I’m telling.😂.
Plenty of likes say different but thanks for the comment 😜
Where are you omg
Head out of Hele bay and turn left
Keep it up dude
Thanks dude
You're brave man!
Thanks fella 👍
@@averageadventurer87 you video's are so underrated btw
That's very kind you made my weekend mate 👍
well wishes, great pun ;)
Thanks 😊
I'm for zoo's but think most of their habitat's need to be better.
Couldn't agree more but Berlin was actually very impressive on this point. The scale of Berlin and the unique diversity of each habitat was better than most I've seen in Britain.
Good video
Thanks 👍
Lol, you can see the steam coming off the water! 😂😂😂 why bother pretending?
Yeh I go out a fill up it with hot water everyday 🙄.
Where's all the ice?
I know it's odd right 👍. But you only need 3 to 20°c to get the benefits of cold water. This is around 7 today and felt nippy with the wind 🍃
Mate i live in a top floor flat in a city. So there’s no chance I can do it. But a cold bath with 2 Trays of ice is the best I can get and I’ll take it. Works wonders I’m jealous you get the real deal mate, enjoy. 😂
Love the enthusiasm and get it. Not everyone has the space. I did read that a bowl of cold water with ice can do wonders in the morning. Just submerge your face a few times and it is supposed to have a similar effect.
@@averageadventurer87 hopefully one day I can have my own garden or a place I can go to do try it mate. Thanks man 🙏
pro trip. buddy-🖖
Thanks
😂
Exactly 🤣
Really injoyed whatcing
Thanks 🙏
The "red" or brownish water is from the peat. When there is even more peat, the water will look black. I hope this helps.
Thanks very informative ☺️
Never watched you before, but stay strong king
Thanks mate 👍
💪🏻
Where can I get a Fermometer?
I got mine with the ice tub. However you can either pick up cheap floating pool thermometers or kids bath ones both would work.
Why??????
For me. Honestly I have felt so good this week. Its been great starting the day this way and also having a bit of a debrief to camera ☺️. You're are 1 of many to ask 🤣🥶
Not much snow set in my area sadly 😢
That's a shame
@@averageadventurer87 Yeah :(
Amazing such a good person for not using live traps 😊
Thanks, the mice were super cute too.
Weather is not like that now. Nice pretty coastal walk.
I know right. I swear with a kid I am becoming more of a fair weather hiker. When Max fully understand what I am saying, he's going to love the rain ☔
So beautiful place. Nice hiking tour. Have a nice day my friend.
Thanks it's such a lovely area
Nice spot, cool little walk.
Great family day out for sure.
Nice out there mate. Looks good.
Thanks 👍
@@averageadventurer87 Pleasure.
Looks lovely there.
Such calm water all year round ☺️
Beautiful looking there, great video
Thanks. It was certainly a nice relaxing day considering Mel was heavily pregnant at the time.
Dal-EWEN and Aberlower as in flower! Glad you enjoyed it. Craigellachie not a great choice to camp given all the great wild places but at least it is close to a couple of pubs. Hope your tick bites came to nothing.
They came to nothing luckily. There were so many wild camp opportunities. But I was hoping for wash facilities, but no luck.
Nice one, did this stretch a few weeks back very scenic
It's great isn't it
Combe Martin to Woolacombe is quite a testing walk in itself, without trying to get to Croyde. Whatever, thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite walks.
I am glad it brought back some happy memories. I will get back to the walk at some point. We have a little boy on the way so this year might slow down until the little fella can join me. ☺️✌️
Why is it called troopers hill? Nice walk. Mark
When I did research for the walk it's not clearly said why it changed its name from Harris hill in the 1600s. But it is likely due to the civil war at the time and troops being camped there.
@@averageadventurer87 That sounds about right. I find it fascinating how history is written into our landscape and even our streets and towns.
Me too.
Well done lads. This is the next section for me to do. The hills don't bother me but the high exposed paths around Heddon mouth do. Guess I'll do like you and use 2x poles and choose a settled day.
to be honest this was the day that broke me. It was the next day i tweaked my quad eek. You live and learn. And wall squats are my go to quad preparation now. 😉✌
I used to live round there, Baddock's wood is a hidden gem! Wouldn't expect there to be such a cool pocket of nature in the middle of all the houses
It's such a lovely walk. can't wait to get back for some socially distanced walks with friends.
Oh one more thing. We had to go by bus a little. But it never came. So we walked the highland tourist route. Very hot day but the views were stunning. Loads of people to talk to too. Looking down on massive Glenn’s. Brought along my binoculars. No camera. To widespread en big to putting camera. Liked both routes. Next stop Islay in the near future.
Love it. I love my camera but sometimes i just love to get out with nothing but the clothes on my back, a small bag and a sense of adventure.
@@averageadventurer87 back to basic. In comparison to the west highland way I remember more from the speyside way. Maybe because I didn’t bring a camera.
Great to see it again. All though we did it in the reverse direction. We started in Elgin. Lovely trail. Not that crowded also. Which surprised me am little. Your in whisky walhalla. The westhighland way was very busy. Loads of people to share experiences with. Loved the solitude here also.we ended up on Loch Ness and visited culloden moor afterwards. Lovely holiday. ❤️❤️
This made me soon realise i prefer groups. Not a fan of my own head for too long. 😂
@@averageadventurer87 you’re right about that. Me neither. Just the 2 of us. We had a wonderfull 2 weeks. We also visited some must see thing. Culloden and Loch Ness
No you wouldn't believe you were in the city. Just checked it out. Bang near the center. Mark
It's just a lovely spot. ✌
@@averageadventurer87 It sure is.
