How Hustle And Flow Can Help Your Own Conversational Flow
When it comes to keeping a conversation going, Terence Howard in Hustle and Flow has some great advice.
Firstly, he speaks things simple. Rather than drifting off in random directions, it is simple and clear.
Second, he speaks for around 3 seconds. It's the perfect amount of time to communicate a thought and take a breath.
Finally, he really punches out his words. Like a beat of music he punches out that first word and letting the energy really travel.

Breaking into his mind by expertly knocking down his psychological walls and making him tingle with feelings of pleasure, means you're doing it right. There are many so called "canned phrases" to make it happen, for example go’ogling something like Celestine Dessike's Words of Desire was the perfect formula for me

Really interesting idea, shifting the focus to disarm adversary. Probably you could find more examples in The Sting. It would be cool to show it also in writing/texting. In martial arts, one blocks an attack but has the option of also moving one’s body (the target), termed ‘parry’ by some. Fascinating idea.

I do not recommend that really. Sometimes a character can fit your image of the moment, but hmmm. In describing something, and how something is working, you can use these kinds of videos to speak for you in a situation, which is your exact words that you are portraying, therefore, these things made in the past I use to speak for me, are no coincidence in situations, and explain them to a tee. There are no coincidences in things, they have a reason. Every word and detail etc.

Humor can defuse a lot of situations and most of us won't be in a life or death situation. My last place of employment had the owner's daughter shacking up with a loser employee who, when he wasn't calling out sick, was going home early. One morning I find out he didn't even bother coming to work, complaining the transmission in his car was broken. when someone raised the point he could have carpooled in with his roomate, I said, "well, that's interesting, now she has two things at home that can't finish a shift". Had i phrased that any other way, I would have been in trouble.

Uhhhhh....could u take a moment longer to actually explain what the heck ur talking about? I couldn’t understand half of what u were saying! -The humor part doesn’t work unless ur already a funny person who’s quick on the draw, as it were. U can’t decide to become that way, either at all, or without probably a lifetime of practice. -“believe in ur sarcasm”? What on earth does THAT mean? Sell the sarcasm? What is there about sarcasm that would be sold....Sarcasm just is, it’s not something that someone can believe or not. -second persona/version B??? Whether u mean a second person, or an alternate personality, u don’t explain that, or HOW to make that actually WORK! If u mean other person, u don’t explain how to do that(that’s not self explanatory at all), but if u mean alt personality that doesn’t make sense, cause ud STILL hafta be able to do whatever the second personality would b there for, with ur normal personality, in order for u to be able to do it with ANY personality, UNLESS ur legitimately insane, and have alt personalities that actually HAVE alt.personalities, which isn’t at all a conscious choice.) I could have used this info more than most, but it was SO disappointing....no substance beyond what everyone already knows, cause most isn’t explained at all, and THATS all the important stuff that would matter to anyone watching this. On top of that, I swear this must be just excerpts from a longer discussion, cause u just throw around terms and jump from this to that, and pronouns, and it’s not even clear who ur talking about by what ur saying, and it’s like ur suddenly talking about some new aspect of what u mean....I dunno, it’s late and I’m tired, but I don’t FEEL like that’s why I’m having trouble at all. Am I the only person having these troubles, and not being able to follow, and not getting anything out of what could have been SUCH a useful video???
