Dream Big QAL: Week 1 - Outlining Your Petals
Can’t wait to try this! How do these hold up in the wash? Does the ink come right out? They sell a 2 sided interfacing that doesn’t bond both sides at the same time. It comes on a paper backing. You apply it like a one sided interfacing and peel off the paper when you are ready to fuse the 2nd side. Have you tried that?
@hopus1881 they hold up great! I have 2 kids and what I make HAS to be washable and durable. I haven't tried that interfacing and now I want to! I would imagine you would adhere it to the wrong side of labels fabric, cut labels out, then peel paper to iron to project when you're ready.
Brilliant! Thank you!
@@wendykeyser6706 you're welcome! 🩷

Faultless Luxe Finish. But I do a light starch.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome!
Dry erase boards get ruined by moisture pretty quickly. So great idea, but shortsighted execution.
These boards are all plastic (no wood in the middle). They were meant to go in the shower. So far they've lasted me 2.5 years. 😁

What is the width of your facing strips
2.25" 😊
You're the second person to not use the big corner triangles and explained how to do the corners/measurements of the stitches. I love the idea of facing and want to finish my latest quilt with it. I'm excited to try this method. Thank you so much for your clear explanations and demonstration of this technique.
I'm so glad you're going to give it a try! I hope the tutorial is clear to help you do so. 😊
Muito obrigada
It was my pleasure! 💕
Very helpful. Thanks!

Very helpful, thank you.
You're so welcome! 😊
Wow I’m so glad I found you. This will make my binding less stressful
I'm so glad you found it helpful! 😊
Best tutorial on facing
So glad you found it helpful!
A tip from fashion sewing. Before you flip the facing the facing to the back, if you scantily stitch the seam allowance to the facing as far as you can, the facing will automatically turn to the inside and won’t show on the right side of the quilt in the areas that we’re stitched. It’s called understitching. That stitching will show on the outside of the facing on the back of the quilt.
Thanks for the tip! 😁
Love this tutorial! Thank you!!💖
My pleasure! I'm glad you found it helpful! 🩷

Sorry i commented that well running out the door, i couldn’t say much but this legit looks amazing, clean cuts, clean edges, no loose threads and the color goes really well together! Keep up the great work because you just earned yourself a new subscriber, AWSOME
@@I_Wonder27 that is so sweet! I really appreciate you! 💕
Awesome tutorial, I haven’t seen this before. I also hate to bind. I will give it a try.
I know it's close to the end, but I think it's hard because you're ready to be finished and enjoy the quilt 🤣
Wow, that's great! Binding is not my best skill and this will take place of it! Thank you!!!
I so hope you enjoy trying it! Please let me know how it goes when you do 😊
I can see this method for a table runner. Thank you. Nicely explained.
So glad you found it helpful! Yes, it can be used for so many quilt sizes 😊
Best, cleanest looking way I’ve seen to date!! Thank you for sharing!!

I love this blue floral! Can you tell me what fabric line it's from?
I'm sorry I don't! I do know it is from Riley Blake Designs 😊

It’s Michelle- next door! This is so cool. I wondered if today your shirt had your pattern on it haha
Hi Michelle! Yes and no 😂It's my favorite quilt block but this was printed and not sewn on a shirt. 🙂
Why is the video so pixelated????
You're a wonderful teacher thanks for the tutorial!

This is really helpful, thanks for sharing your fave rulers! I need to expand my ruler collection, and this helps me really think about what I'll actually use.
I'm glad you found it helpful! It's easy to want to buy them all 😂
Great to see you. Hope all is well. I enjoyed this. I have invested in so many rulers but seem to always find my way back to the ones you talked about.
Hi Kathy! Me too! I have others but they're mostly decoration 😂
