Hey, thanks heaps for following along! Appreciate the kind words. The pilbara was amazing. So yes we went with 4.88 diff gears in ours. Most go with 4.56 with 35s, but we built ours to originally do tough 4wding, but it is working perfectly on our trip. And yeah definitely upgraded the uca's.

We absolutely love it! Super comfortable, super capable and super reliable! It's perfect for the 2 of us and the dogs. Long term travel with the fj is fine, less is more.

Cheers, all the silver parts are just painted with a texture like paint. And yeah it was once an xrox bar that has now been heavily modified.

Cheers! The roof platform was originally a cane toad equipment ( ebay) roof rack. And the rooftop tent is a San Hima branded tent that I custom mounted to the platform to keep everything as low as possible. The light bar is also something that I custom made using 6 livid lighting led/laser driving lights.

Thanks for the info, Yes you are correct.. but this is hardly a recovery, it's on soft sand, so would spin before anything broke also shock loading the driveline is the main issue when doing a reverse recovery, as you can see it was an extremely easy "recovery" so definitely no chance of that.
